I gave specific instructions to Andrea, a hair tech at bell tower location that I wanted to maintain current color abd that was there for root touch up.
Andrea ignored my requests. Instead, pulled through a bleaching agent in my hair turning it orange then of course we needed a toner of which turned my ashy blonde of which I adamantly expressed my opposition to that color of ash. Andrea did full head to be able to charge full head of color which was 170 dollars later. This was not only a rip off but also total ignorance to client's wishes; ie just the roots.

Nothing was resolved, so here’s here is the email I sent to corporate back in February to report this location:
I went shopping there on my birthday two days ago on 2/6/2024 and my boyfriend and I were profiled and followed around. When we first entered, we were greeted by a kind blonde white woman with a thick country accent. I asked for help with a product that ended up not being in stock. Since the store didn't have the product I needed, I decided to walk around to shop to see if there was anything I wanted, since it was my birthday. There was a group of workers huddled together in the back by the nail and skincare section. I was looking at products when I was approached by one of the women in the group. She was tall, white, with black hair, and wearing red lipstick. She asked me if I needed any help, then I said no. Not even a minute later was I then approached again by another female worker (White, Very tall, plus-sized, long black hair, wearing nude lipstick) a part of the same group. She asked me if I needed help, again, and I told her politely no. When I walked away, she then stood at the end of the aisle my boyfriend and I were browsing. When we changed aisles, she'd follow and stare at us intensely. I was so uncomfortable, that I decided to just get my birthday sample from the store and go. The same two women were at the front of the store conveniently when we left, watching us. We didn't have any bags on us, I was wearing tight clothing and no jacket. My boyfriend just had pants and a flannel. There was nothing suspicious about our body language or appearance. My boyfriend is a visibly Hispanic man, so I have to assume it was nothing short of racial profiling. I decided to shop at Sephora instead because I was so upset and uncomfortable by the interaction. I don't know if the country girl thought it was suspicious that I didn't want to order the product they had out of stock because she was also with that group of women, but it was very upsetting. This is the closest Ulta to me, but now I'm not sure if I want to shop there anymore if I'm going to continue to be made uncomfortable.

Addy in the salon is my go- to for cut and color! She is the only person who I trust with my hair (I've tried a lot in the past 6 years) since moving from a big city. I always leave feeling like a supermodel.

*Detailed Review Ahead*
My family and I moved to the SWFL area in late 2021. I had a wonderful stylist at an Ulta in Louisville who I was super sad to leave so I decided to try Ulta when I moved down here. I booked my first appointment with Andrea S. in early 2022 and I haven't regretted it since. I am the kind of person a stylist loves to hate because I don't get too upset over my hair. I have had all kinds of styles and colors through the years but I now stick mostly to a version of blonde, short-mid length hair.
I have my hair cut and colored about every ~2 months. Sometimes I will go in with a color and style in mind and other times I will tell Andrea to surprise me. I know that would cause most hair stylists to have a heart attack, but she just looks at my head for a few minutes and then makes a suggestion and I will say yay or nay. I don't think I have ever said no because in the 2+ years she has been doing my hair, it hasn't looked bad for even a day. I get compliments on my hair regularly. It always shocks me when I get compliments 2+ months after I had seen Andrea. (Not saying my hair wasn't good in the first place but after 2 months, I know it's time for a visit to Andrea again.) I style my hair in many different ways and some days it looks supermodel worthy but most days it is just normal but still attracting lots of compliments on the color and cut.
After Hurricane Ian, I didn't have my hair cut or colored for well over 4 months and I felt horrible about it. When I finally got back in gear, Andrea was there to fix my hair back to its former glory.
Thankfully I was blessed with a decent head of hair. It's a fine texture but I have a lot of it so it can get heavy when it is longer. It is mostly straight with the slightest bit of wave at the ends. It will hold pretty much any hairstyle you would like to put it in, so Andrea loves to curl it and make it look glorious before I leave her chair.
I'm currently letting my hair grow and it has long layers just past my shoulders. Andrea has been keeping it nice until I get a wild notion and cut it back off into a bob again. Finding a hair stylist is hard but once you find a great one, it's like hitting the self-care jackpot. I don't do anything for myself except for having my hair done so I am willing to pay a price for the excellent service that Andrea provides.
As much as I would love to keep her all to myself, I feel like many others will be just as happy as I am if they would like for Andrea to be their hair stylist. I could honestly write a book about all the great things she has done for my hair and confidence since moving here.

I had appointment with Andrea today , actually it was my 2nd so far. I have been having issues with hairdressers for the past 3 year with no luck. My color has been wrong they haven't been able to help with a woman in her 50s starting to go silver along with my hair is always dried out and my hair trims have been choppy. NO MORE, Andrea is awesome she listened to me and looked at ideas on my phone that I brought. She explained in detail whether or not my ideas would work and did her best to give the look I wanted. This is the first time I have had a hairdressers listen and accomplish the look I wanted . I highly recommend making an appointment she knows what she's doing and she cares.

Addy is an amazingly talented stylist. I'm so happy I found her. I recently moved an hour and a half away, and I still continue to travel to see Addy. I have lived in five states and Addy is the best stylist I have ever found! She's is so personable, professional, and so welcoming!

I stopped in the store yesterday cause I’ve been curious about the Charlotte Tilbury line and I wanted to test some of the testers.i felt like the employees were watching me like I was some kind of thief. I did look a mess with no makeup on but I felt like I was looked down on. It made me feel like trash. I won’t be back to this location again. These girls need to pull the stick out of their butts. I also heard a guy who works at the salon commenting something looked “skanky”. Very uppity and snobby.

Marcella in the beauty department is amazing. She made me feel beautiful. She gave me her time, patience, and knowledge in products to help guide me in the right direction to figure out what makeup was best for me. She was so kind and I look, but more importantly, I FEEL beautiful. She didn’t stop until she found the best color and product for my skin. I’m now sitting at lunch with the most important person in my life. ME. I feel beautiful and I’m enjoying this moment feeling fabulous reflecting on how great that experience was. Thank you Marcella, may life give you happy people all the time! Haha!
