I was visiting here from another state for a few weeks with my Lab got within a week of arrival a terrible "hot spot" or bacterial infection and ear infection. I had gotten in another Vet the same day I called to be seen and that is because that Vet was incompetent and what that Doctor did and didn't do caused my dog to worsen. There is a reason why you can get in a place same day - because they have NO clients. I was finally able to get into VCA and they saved the day. I can't tell you how incredible thorough they were. They spent from the time I walked in the exam room 2 hours going over everything and diagnosing my dog. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. DeFransico as one of the BEST and was amazed by her knowledge, care and concern. As well as the Vet assistant, Josh was incredible. Don't go anywhere else if but here and you won't be disappointed.

i've had to bring my two cats there A couple of times. The staff attended to the situations in a professional , courteous and fast manner. The medication was twice the cost I would Pay if I was ordering it online, but given it was an emergency situation, she was able to be treated that same day instead of me waiting for a necessary medication delivery in the mail. I think some of the reviewers forget to consider this is an emergency room. and just like human emergency care, it is generally more costly. That said, The cost wasn't horribly bad. I would take my cat there again in a heartbeat if necessary.

Extremely rude front office staff. Acting like I was inconveniencing them. I would not bring my pet here if that is how the veterinarians allow their staff to act. Visit on 7/28/23.

We brought my 19 year senior cat in for a checkup and symptoms of a runny nose, eye discharge and coughing. Dr. Curtis gave her a thorough exam -- she was so gentle and kind with our cat and professional and so knowledgeable too!She gave me a few options for treatment and I'm confident my kitty will be better very soon. She wasn't traumatized by the visit at all -- she loved Dr. Curtus. The staff was also super nice -- overall we had a 5 star experience including a piece of mind that I didn't have to spend too much money, and my cat would get much better soon. Thanks VCA :)

2023: i wish the lower review still held true but i would be lying if i said it did. Over the the last 6 years a lot has changed. Staff communication is almost non existent. Dependability goes out the window after they get your payment details. Find a dependable vet you will be better off.Staff is Awesome! Great and knowledgeable! Only place that I will allow to see my big d*** goof of a lab XD. It is always clean and fun trip to the vets. There boarding is awesome and dog loves spending time there away from home when we travel.

They answer phone that they treat you like family. This is true, they take your money and when you really need help. They are no help!!

Dr. Bean is unmatched. I have a hairless guinea pig and he had gotten a piece of his stuck in his eye and when I pulled it out it got cloudy and had what looked like a spot that had suffered from impact. I have been going to another pet hospital since I’ve had him and when I found out that the two doctors there that I trusted had left I called a few different places. While she had no appointments until January 4 they told me to come in first thing in the morning and she would get me in. I was right in once I got there and she did a full body work up of him and I could tell she actually cared. From the vet that we came from (who was an absolute nightmare and knew nothing about Guinea pigs) she was unbelievable. Within a day of the treatment she gave us, he was already a HUGE improvement. THEN, first thing on the third day of treatment Dr. Bean herself called to check on him. I cannot rave enough about this place and Dr. Bean. We are beyond grateful ❤️

Dr Bean and the staff were more than accomodating, friendly, knowledgeable and so very compassionate when my bunny needed immediate attention and my normal vet could not accommodate me and my pet in a dire situation. This is the second time in a few years that I was in a siimilar situation with an "exotic" pet. Definitely considering transferring all of my veterinarian needs over to VCA Coral on Cypress Lake DR. - even though I'd have to cross the bridge to get there. Thank you so much for the care given tomy bunny today

We see Dr. Bean at this veterinary office. She is a phenomenal doctor. Very thorough, very patient, very understanding and a pleasure to deal with. Can’t say enough about the way she has treated us and our Pet Dylan.Joe Greco

I called today with a prescription from another vet to fill here because my vet is far away. This is signed by a doctor. They are standard operating procedure is that the dog needs to be seen by their vet even though mine has been diagnosed and I had the scription in hand. Then I read the other reviews and glad I didn't go there . All about the money.

Dr Andazola took care of cropping our 3 month old pitbull’s ears. He did a fabulous job and was always kind when he had to do frequent dressing changes cause Tinker-2 spent a lot of her free time doing everything she could think of to remove his handiwork! She is still healing but we could not have asked for a better surgeon. We brought a photo and he was able to crop hers very close to the picture. Here are the before, during and after photos.

For a brief time VCA Coral treated our feline. We were new to Ft. Myers. However, our feline was 20 yrs old and she started to decline in health. The team at VCA was compassionate and did everything possible to make her last hours dignified. They have a great team. The only drawback is their facility needs a facelift.

I give 2 stars only because the medical end was adequate. However, they are price gougers with their meds. Bigtime.I brought my cat in because of sores. They prescribed prednisolone, 20 count. They charged me $30.00 when I could have bought it online for $3.27. Same amount, same strength! I wondered why they didn't offer me the prescription, but just assumed I would buy it there. When I got home and checked online I was livid. And realized why the written prescription was never offered. The next day I called them, and pretty much got the run around. First she tells me "We can't compete with the big box stores, we're a small business", then later in the conversation she says "Well, corporate sets the price". You can't have it both ways. But the bottom line is they're price gouging on their meds. Make sure you get the written prescription, and save yourself a lot of money by purchasing online. Or better yet, don't go there. There are plenty of better vet hospitals in the area! I for one, will never set foot in a VCA animal hospital again.
