“Went to The Christmas Carol put on by Fever. It was fabulous! The actors were amazing, cocktails were yummy, and the Ter-Tini venue is a fun place. I highly recommend!”
“This is such a fun venue in SW FL. I have gone to the museum for a variety of things; yoga, karaoke on the roof top, decorating of the trees, dueling pianos and a fashion show. I love the space and the fun history that it provides the town. I would love to see more things in this space- maybe a showing of old holiday movies or a summer movie series. I love every time that I walk through the doors!”
“I checked out The Club at Gateway recently, and it's pretty cool. The vibe there is lively and welcoming. They've got good facilities for all kinds of stuff – whether you want to chill or get active.”
“Spend some time out of your day at this local farm in Fort Myers, raised by three generations! We had the pleasure of meeting the owners Robert and Shelly! You can find Cows, Bison, Goats and more at this farm! They have a farmers market, with locally grown vegetables. There is a kids park with swings and slides, then, After a walk around the farm you can cool off by enjoying locally brewed beer with pretzels from Crazy Dingo Brewing Co. (Thanks Ameded!). We will be coming back, everyone here makes you feel welcome!”
“As a fan of 1920's architect Addison Mizner's designs in Boca Raton, I was delighted to discover this historic Spanish Colonial Revival estate that he designed located within walking distance from downtown Fort Myers. Mizner designed Calvin Coolidge's Summer White House. The Kennedy's and John Lennon have owned homes designed by him. Addison Mizner is known for his Mediterranean and Spanish influenced architecture that uses stucco, coquina stone, terra cotta tiles, wood beam ceilings, fountains, towers, columns, wrought iron, and tropical landscaping. Most of the homes he designed were in Palm Beach County but he designed four homes in Naples of which two remain today and this home in Fort Myers, This Fort Myers one acre estate was built in 1924 for banker Fred Alderman, President of Fort Myers First National Bank in 1921. He would entertain illustrious Fort Myers winter residents Henry Ford, Harvey Firestone, and Thomas Edison. Many society events were held in the grand ballroom with its 14 foot high ceilings, elaborate mantel, and wood burning fireplace. On December 1, 1988 the house was added to the US National Register of Historic Places.More recently the grand home was used as an office for 30 years. Doreen Lehrer who was in the marines for 25 years fell in love with the house after seeing an internet posting from where she was stationed in North Korea. She purchased it sight unseen in 2016 and began the restoration. Lehrer added a kitchen and guest rooms which she rented out to guests. In 2021 the house went on the market for 1,499 million dollars. The new owners are still using it as an Airbnb for $400 a night plus cleaning and Airbnb fees. It can also be rented for weddings.”
“What a beautiful venue! I can’t say enough good things about Suite Forty Eight! The venue was spotless when we arrived, everything was so clean and ready to go. We added on Summer as the bartender but she was so much more than that! She filled in every gap that as a bride (not a wedding coordinator) I didn’t even think of. This place was amazing. I did an event here in the past that wasn’t a wedding and it was beautiful, which made me want to book as my venue. They’re responsive and they went above and beyond. Very affordable and with every penny!”

Rooms are spacious and virtually sound proof. This hotel gives the best bang for your buck this close to the beach. Only thing missing is breakfast.”

“My wife and I were impressed with the quality of food and service we received from everywhere we visited. If you can, I recommend staying waterfront view, because you can watch the sunset and tons of wildlife. The spa was the best value so don't forget to go. Don't have to leave the resort for anything.
Noteworthy details: Tons of wildlife”
