an hour agoNEWThe pharmacist on duty 5:00 p.m. today January 23rd 2024 named "YAW" with a thick accent was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked for his name after he said he had my prescription; just in case there were any more issues before I go to pick up (I was the middleman between my vet and Walgreens for about 3 days trying to get this prescription) instead of just telling me, he said why are you asking me my name? He said asking for his name was "very confrontational." When I asked for a manager he then laughed and hung up on me. The way he talked to me I am sure this isn't his first issue with customers. Especially since he tried to conceal his identity for no apparent reason.

The one thing I always like about Walgreens is the store layouts are almost identical no matter where you are.

I’m only giving them 3 stars because of one employee that I like at the store every time I come in she’s always super nice and friendly she’s one of the managers and the only black person that works there I think her name is Kim if I’m not mistaken but she’s very nice all the other employees are just plan rude and mean! I also love Jennifer from pharmacy she’s always so helpful too.

On March 3, 2023 I was at one of your establishments located at 1525 Colonial Blvd Ft Myers Fl 33907 between 12 and 2 PM buying different items, I usually go to this establishment and I almost always have problems when I go to pay with the OTC card and even though I make sure to take the items that are marked with this label, I am always having balances that I have to pay, or else leave the item even though it was with the OTC label on the store window. Until now I have not written to them, making a complaint, because I generally think that Walgreens is a great store and most of their employees are excellent, but last Saturday, something happened that I was very upset about, when they passed the items that purchase was $136.89 and a balance of $1 remained. and a few cents and I was going to pay, but supposedly the girl who was serving me said that I had gone ahead and that the computer had crashed, that we should go to the register and she was going to cancel that purchase. When I spent all the items, the account came to $129. with a few cents, although in this case there was a difference of about $7, the balance that I had left to pay was $21.00, I told him to call the manager, when he came and said that he was going to cancel the operation, the point is that the one that The manager canceled if they returned it to me, but the first of $136 has not been put back, it was not only. Something that I was able to do in 30 minutes took me 2 hours and these are the hours that my money has not been fully refunded. I hope someone pays attention to this issue.

Have you ever lost your credit card and panicked? Hope you're at this Walgreens where the heroes work. It happened to me and they worked tirelessly to help me. Thank you Ashes who searched the parking lot and my car. Thank you Kathryn who reviewed the camera footage. Thank you to Store Manager Liz for hiring such wonderful people who truly care about their customers. Ashes and Kathryn are true heroes to me.

Fine I suppose as a quick stop for a couple of items you might need to purchase, but worthless as a pharmacy. Impossible to predict when the pharmacy is open, because it is oftentimes "temporarily closed" due to lack of an available pharmacist. Calling the store is an exercise in futility, as I was told (by the dismissive employee with the customer service skills of a goldfish) "the pharmacist should be here tomorrow but we can't know for sure. Call back tomorrow." You gotta do better Walgreens. This is pitiful.

I have been using this pharmacy for about 3 years now, and this past week has been unacceptable. I had my doctor appointment last Wednesday, received a text my prescription medication was filled and ready for pick up the next day, so i went to pick it up in the evening around 6pm and there was a problem with my insurance. I don't use my insurance to pay for my prescription and was told my script needed to be verified by my physician so he would be contacted the next day to verify and come back the next day. That would be Friday. I work night shift at the hospital so i was unable to get back during pharmacy hours to pick up my script. So i went to pick up my script Monday around 6pm before work...my insurance was questioned again. I explained i had insurance and i do not use it for my prescriptions. I was told it would be ready in 2 hours at 8 pm that night, monday night. I said i would be there in the morning to pick it up as i was on my way to work. The next morning when i got off work was Tuesday morning and i went throught the drive thru to pick up my script that i thought was supposed to be ready by 8pm the night before. Apparently it was not. My insurance was still in question. I had to explain again, for a 3rd time i have insurance and i choose not to use it for my prescription. I was told it would be ready in 2 hours. Except it was ready 5 days ago according to the text message i got from walgreens and except for it was supposed to be ready by 8pm last night. I'm glad this is not a seizure medication or blood pressure medication i need to survive. 6 days without one of those needed medications and i could be dead. Point is, dont trust this pharmacy for any life saving medications. Unreliable.

Almost always a long wait and some sort of problem. I started using the Lee Health pharmacy for half my perscriptions. After six months, I have never had a wait or any problem at Lee Health. I moved the remained of my perscriptions over to Lee now.I think this Walgreens is simply understaffed. Plus they do a lot of vaccinations here. If you get behind someone who needs a vaccination, you are going to wait another 20 minutes on top of the 20 minute usual wait. I don't know how they keep thier customers.

Thi store is not reliable as far as the pharmacy goes. Went to pick up script today and pharmacy closed. It is Saturday. Called to speak to store manager and she not taking calls and no one could answer if pharmacy will be open tomorrow. Makes it hard to take meds if you cannot get them.

Oh, everyone is nice and courtesy. Sure. Just make sure you CHECK YOUR BAG and all your items before you even walk out!The first time -- I found the liquid cleaner cap was unscrewed and it got onto the other products I bought. I immediately thought of the cashier, but thought no. Don't be quick to judge and let the matter go. But, at the same time I knew the cap wasn't unscrewed before I placed it on the counter. However, today there is no doubt (different cashier). When I took my stuff out of the bag I saw the cover missing on one item! I rechecked the bag and nothing. Thank goodness it at least still had it's seal. This is downright microagressive pettiness.

The store itself is fine. Front cashier usually polite and courteous. Then you get to the pharmacy. I get it. Most pharmacies are very busy as is this one. But the staff in the pharmacy is the worst. Rude isn’t even the word. They ignore customers, uninformed, lazy and just bad at their jobs. There is one in particular that is rude every single time I interact with her. She has an attitude 100% of the time and doesn’t pay attention to what she is doing. I loathe dealing with her so much that I would like to cal her out by name but I’m not about getting anyone fired but this lady needs to be retrained at her job and also how to deal with customers in a polite manner. Or maybe work from home so she doesn’t have to interact with the public. Not sure why she even still has a job because half the bad reviews are talking about her but leave her nameless. In the process of switching pharmacies because I hate dealing with this woman so much. If you can go elsewhere to get your meds, please do. You’ll thank me later.

It is in a great spot for a fast visit. Had to make a quick stop to buy something for Halloween gift. Found a halloween puzzle with no price. Two employees agreed they could not sell it because it did not have a price. Really?

The worst pharmacy experience I’ve had and will not be returning here for prescriptions. I went to the hospital and took my prescription the next day. They told me it would be ready in just a few hours but never did get a text message until the next day. So.. After waiting about 25 minutes the next day with only one person waiting ahead of me, I was told i need to pay 89$ for my medicine which should be covered by my insurance. The lousy attitude makes me just assume she didn’t take the time to put my information in correctly. I went home and waited till the next day to maybe try to get an off brand. When i logged into the link that walgreens sent me, it said i could pay my balance of $4.39!!!!!! Where did $89 come from. Waisted a whole night of being nauseous out of my mind because of an employee being lazy or not fully doing their job. There were several other people waiting in line after me and in the drive through not being taken care of. It seems the employees are much more concerned about themselves than the customers. Save the trip and head to Publix right across the street.
