I'm not happy with Ferrellgas. The website shows some improvement but it's still a joke. I keep running out of propane and there is now way to monitor it except to look down the hole. They don't have a program where they will automatically come to top it off. Furthermore, in my last fillup, I had to wait a week without hot water before I could get a fillup. They only service certain areas per week. If you want a quicker delivery it costs an extra $150 service charge. Then, for my troubles, they offered to discount my delivery which cost over $1,000. They never discounted it. They also insisted on a gas leak check. I had on with my last fillup, but since I ran out of gas, they said it is manditory. I wrote an email, but didnt' see a reply. Lastly, I once asked to have my gas fireplace inspected because it didn't work. They charged me over $300 and said it needed a new igniter. The agent said that they can order it and install but it would cost another $300 to install. I said "no." Then I looked up the part on Google. It's about $19. So that is my honest experience. The people are always very nice and helpful. It's a terrible management problem and seems like a "money grab." I'm also helpless to change services because the home I am in because they installed the tank. My propane was over $4.00 per gallon. I shouldn't have these problems.

They don'tgive a star for Zero Emergency Service, everyone should look to a new supplier who care that there customers have a "Gas Leak".

Wish all companies were as responsive as Ferrellgas. It would be a better world. If you call Ferrellgas you actually get to speak with a knowledgeable, courteous and helpful human representative!

Stay away from Ferell gas. They came out for leak and said when guage reads 5% call them. I did and then they said tank needs to be completly empty. Did that and paid for repair. They came out to fill tank and condemmed it. Waste of money. Now I need a new tank and they gave me a loaner but won't return calls. Way too stressful for dealing with what should have been a simple process.

Have been a customer since 2003. I have had minimal problems with this company until last week . I was cooking dinner and my burners and broiler went out. I called the emergency number and they told me that I was on " will call " and for an extra $ 200.00 they would come out and fill my tank. I received a call from the office the next morning and was told I didn't use enough propane for them to come by and top my tank off. They put me on " will call " in Dec of 2014 and NEGLECTED to advise me of this. So they just let me run out of gas.............nice. They gave me a discount for my inconvenience but it shouldn't have occurred at all. The delivery man is very sweet and nice, he came in and checked the burners and they came on fine. We neglected to check the pilot light on the oven. It is not on and I can't figure out how to relight it. I contacted them yesterday afternoon to be told someone would call me and set and appointment. It is now 4:16 pm the following day and not a peep. I call them and am told that the soonest they can light my pilot light is Friday. This is part of the conversation " well, you can use your stove top right, you just don't have an oven?" " We are not going to re route someone from 2 hrs away to take care of your non emergency issue" Love the customer service with this company. So, I am on the books for Friday and am actively finding another propane company. We own a towing business that will do 16,000 calls this year. I know customer service and this company is not the same page.
