Would rate lower if possible.Anthony provided me the worst customer service I ever experienced at this game stop. Paul needs to look into this guy he has working for him. When he gave me an issue, I asked for the store ID & his name. He hid his name tag / put it away & refused to give me his name to report him to higher up. Than I tried to make a purchase & he refused to service me & told me I need to leave

SERVICE SO POOR, they must be GOING OUT OF BUSINESS? UPDATE... 3 days ago I gave a glowing five star review and would have recommended GameStop to everyone , but when you DON'T STAND BEHIND your products and DEVALUE YOUR customers, I would give zero Stars if possible. In my lifetime I had a long successful career in retail management and I was appalled and quite honestly shocked that GameStop's customer service has become so non-existent. About 6 months ago , I actually got a customer service rep on the phone at 3:00 in the morning on Sunday that helped me process a transaction. The past two times I've tried to call the corporate office 11-10-22 and 11-12-22, the recording essentially says they have extended wait times ,it doesn't give an option to leave a call back and does not give an option to hold it just hangs up on you and tells you to call back? That and when I tried to send an email for customer support, it took about 3 weeks to get a reply to a simple question.I bring these instances up because they're relevant to my final point that when the service is essentially not existent, and there's no Corporate Support to oversee the unprofessional and unethical behavior that goes on in the store then there's a serious problem? So bottom line I spent $300 on WednesdayI had a personal tragedy on Friday and went to return some of the items on Saturday and was told they were not eligible for return because they were clearance?. First of all half the store in this particular location was on clearance which is not a good sign( itwasn't seasonal merchandise) Nonetheless, I specifically asked the cashier when I checked out if there was any different policy for clearance and she told me she wasn't sure but she didn't think so and we read the policy on the receipt together and it didn't specify anything.IF IT DOESN'T SPECIFICALLY STATE that clearance is not refundable, then it should be CLEARLY stated at the checkout and on every reciept. It is not posted anywhere. The Cashier fumbled through some very generic vague information on the receipt, which was SO VAGUE that is must be placed to essentially cover ANYTHING!?What a rapid decline and asad story for another retailer that has been around for as long as I can remember.. Massive cuts in corporate staff? Closing. Stores? High percentage of merchandise on clearance? And worst of All this "POLICY" is so unprofessional and unethical it's down there with the old bait and switch, false advertising, or just a blatant con.To anyone that has ever run a business, it's common sense that unless the customer has a history of abusing policy, you don't fail to do everything in your power to make the situation right with them. LONG STORY short, unless you're ready to commit for life no matter what don't bother shopping at GameStop. There's still plenty of retailers out there that offer the same products and services that haven't forgotten what proper customer service is.EVERY CUSTOMER COUNTS... The customer that has a return today, or only spends a dollar might be the customer or be the friend of the customer who was going to come back and spend $5,000 and and bring 20 of their family to do the same. I thought that was retail 101 , but I guess some people will have learn the hard way, sadly.I don't normally post photos but I'm going to attempt to post part of the receipt that speaks to or I should say it doesn't speak to you the situation. The woman that refused my return was more than happy to put me in the page out of their policy and procedure manual that specifies clearance, however that's not something that every customer needs. And not posted anywhere in the store!?

This game store has recently changed their hours then updated them online which was a problem only for a day but what is a problem is there computer systems always in turmoil and mediocre customer service. For a organization that will only survive on customer service in an ongoing digital world chances are lowering your open and close times and having inconsistent technology is not the way to go about it.

I always come here for my Xbox needs. When I walk in, it's like walking into my old childhood days of games everywhere in like the toys r us store before it closed. There's different systems on the walls, games for the systems etc. The old days with GameStop, they used to have tournaments to play like smash brothers and other stuff that was awesome. I wish they would bring that back. I don't know if that was a covid thing or just business practice but it drove people into the store. I will be back here!
