Took my grandson in the one in vero dr didn't care then took him up to lawnwood staff was pleasant same issue. Mom took him back this morning the same dr from vero was his dr she had no bedside manners could careless about the health of a minor child un compassionate and rude. She needs to be addressed with her manners cleveland will be the place I go to. I worked at hca hopstial in psl I wouldn't take my love ones there and now I wouldn't take them to this dive. Shelby baron was the dr for lawnwood and vero horrible person.

I was very impressed with this hospital, very clean. The staff was very professional. The Dr's and nurses seemed to be very caring toward patients. They also Vallet parking for visitors.

I am writing this review as a "Mother of a patient, my son" ... Not just as Google Mapquest Reviewer.My son and I have recently been to more than 'a few' hospitals recently ... Each visit progressed in a deteriorating state ... Until God led us here ... I knew we were on the right path when their "smaller sister hospital in Okeechobee" assessed and transferred us to Lawnwood because they were more equipped to deal with our extremely life threatening, highly complicated issues involving stabilizing several major organs functioning.God working thru the hearts of everyone serving in this hospital is extraordinary !!! From the kindness of the people keeping it clean, to the gentlemen chauffeuring people to and from their cars (if needed) ... And most beneficial to me as a mother, the hands on professionals caring for my son. So many times during his stay ... We found ourselves remarking on how wonderful their care and attentive manner was. Not only are they professionally capable but somehow ... Each and every person encountered during our stressful challenge ... somehow ... was able to express their human heart side WHILE conducting their professional responsibility. I am sorry, I can not remember names ... This ordeal is somewhat a blurry ... But there are moments I felt God Working thru them to reassure me ... Little moments where we conversed sharing how they spent Thanksgiving with their family and children ... Or in the case, one that worked, got home and went to bed ... To make sure they'd be rested for work the next day ... But they will have Christmas to enjoy with their loved ones. And there was my quips and smiles shared with "Bright Eyes" whose heart just radiated thru her smiling eyes and quiet but fun gentle manner. My son's condition holds no promises ... No one ever knows what the future holds ... Ever ... But I will tell any mother, father, sister, brother ... If your life leads you to journey thru scarey unknown territory ... You will find this hospital and all the people serving in it ... One of the best to provide a sense of confident support and hope. My son is home with me now ...bin time for his 35th Birthday and Christmas... And its THIS hospital ... THEIR STAFF that performed God's Miracle. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Peg

Husband transported to lawnwood emergency room for car accident. Was there for 3 hours. The place was packed with people all throughout hallways and waiting room. They had very little parking and alot of the lots were blocked off and closed. Since I drove around the entire hospital looking for a place to park I noticed a lot close to the emergency room with some cars in it that said patient parking. When we got out of emergency our car had been towed!! They had a maintenance guy there who called in towing on all the cars there! We had no way to get home and the towing company made us pay cash to get our car back at 9pm at night! I will never go to lawnwood again!!

Not very happy I’m sorry to say! I was brought by ambulance because my breathing was not so great! I have COPD and the ambulance was on the ball . Had the oxygen and nebulizer meds before I got out of my street! I was having such a hard time breathing I asked the RN to please give me oxygen before she tried to start an IV. She put her entire weight on me and said she would if I would hold still! Black and blues all up my arms from her pushing on my arms. I needed oxygen! She showed absolutely no compassion! I’ve worked in healthcare my entire life and this is not acceptable!

I’m embarrassed to hear that a family member is still waiting to be seen by their ‘on call’ surgeon. They’ve been waiting for roughly 12 hours with a broken hip. The family was told that there was a bed available, not in the ER hallway or sitting in a room in the ER?! I’m sure that the RN’s & PCT’s are doing all they can! Just someone is slipping up
