These current Public Storage operators in Fort Pierce are rip off artists and price gougers...
My girlfriend who is a honest and hard working single mom
has been storing items in a 5x10 unit since 2022. They are the epitome of price gougers having raised prices every six months for an approximate rate increase of 60% for entire years. Factoring inflation well you do the math
That's right 20% is ample
(All while offering 50% price discounts to new potential customers).
They also have the audacity to disallow her the opportunity of contracting a new unit to obtain that very same discount
Horrifying Customer Service. The owner/ management holding company while corporate or franchised is unknown but should stop these practices immediately.

We were unsure of which size we wanted for our indoor unit rental. Ollie took the time to show us various units to see which size fit our needs best. We were very pleased with Ollie’s commitment to customer needs and satisfaction! Ollie assured us that security is their main priority. I would highly recommend this Public Storage facility to anyone in the area.

I signed up for an online deal to get a *inside* unit at $95 a month. I get there, it's an outside unit. I don't have time to argue, I have movers coming in an hour. So they switch me to an inside unit, but my rent goes up $15 a month immediately. They told me they would work it out, never did. I called several times. Never fixed. Got gipped out of the deal I signed up for. I wish I had the time to refuse the unit and get it worked out before paying but I didn't.

Units have NO ceiling. There is chicken wire ceiling; not a solid ceiling. Mice are free to roam around from unit to unit. Mice will pee on everything you have in your unit. Furniture, books, etc.

MICE!! MICE apparently run freely throughout the units all over building. Mice urine and feces are all over my boxes in storage...even on books...permanently ruined. Reported it to management...just waiting until I can move my things from this unit to another company. There was a dead mouse on the floor of the storage room. I took a picture of it. Other mice covered up the dead mouse with sticks, etc. from outside bldg I guess. Ugh.
NO MICE AT MY OTHER COMPANY: I also have a unit with an OLDER storage company (Barrel Road Storage) in Fort Pierce (for 15 years). I have never seen any sign of rodents there. By the way, units there are HALF the price of Public Storage.
