This place is the bomb. I couldn't believe the gin aisle. They have flavors I didn't even know existed! The owner was extremely helpful & the clerk was friendly.

Father was in the middle of a conversation with my wife about how bad the meat cooler smelled and some fat old Hispanic guy verbally attacked both of us and continue to follow us around the store until we finally got to the checkout line and then so rudely said there must be something wrong with our noses and don't ever come back! They were rude and nasty and then had the gall to say you must be some of those Trump supporters so of course I told him he was an ungrateful immigrant and he was what was wrong with our country! MAGA 2024! If you're a freedom loving American and a veteran like myself you would boycott the store because they're American haters.

Seaway Market on Hutchinson Island is truly a remarkable grocery store that has earned its reputation as the best little market on this side of the island. In fact, it's the only grocery store in the vicinity, making it an essential destination for residents and visitors alike. With its rich history and enduring presence, Seaway Market has become a cherished Hutchinson Island tradition. One of the standout features of Seaway Market is its impressive selection of goods. Despite its size, this charming store manages to stock a wide variety of products to meet the diverse needs of its customers. Whether you're searching for fresh produce, pantry staples, or specialty items, you'll find them neatly arranged on the shelves. And for seafood enthusiasts, Seaway Market is a true haven. Their seafood section boasts a tantalizing assortment, including the much-revered Macy's fish dip--a crowd favorite that keeps customers coming back for more.Stepping inside Seaway Market feels like taking a step back in time. The store's weathered exterior tells the tale of its resilience in the face of numerous hurricanes that have battered the island. While some may prefer gleaming, modern supermarkets, Seaway Market exudes a charming nostalgia that appeals to those who appreciate a touch of history and character. It's a place where you can escape the sterile, cookie-cutter experience of larger chains and immerse yourself in the authentic island vibe.Another noteworthy aspect of Seaway Market is its friendly and attentive staff. The employees, who are often long-time residents themselves, possess an intimate knowledge of the island and its community. They greet customers with warm smiles, ready to offer assistance and engage in friendly conversation. Their familiarity with the products and local recommendations adds a personal touch to the shopping experience, making each visit a pleasant and personalized affair. One of the challenges of island living can be finding convenient amenities without having to travel to the mainland. Whether you need to restock your pantry, grab a quick snack, or pick up ingredients for a delectable island-inspired meal, Seaway Market is your go-to spot. The convenience it offers saves time and makes island life that much more enjoyable. In terms of parking, Seaway Market provides a welcome respite from the frustrations of congested lots during the peak tourist season. While parking can be a challenge during those busy months, outside of the peak season, finding a spot is typically a breeze. This makes shopping at Seaway Market a stress-free experience, allowing customers to focus on what matters most--their grocery needs and enjoying the island lifestyle. All things considered, Seaway Market on Hutchinson Island is a true hidden gem. It may not be a shiny, brand-new establishment, but its enduring appeal lies in its authenticity, character, and dedication to serving the local community. It's a place where you can indulge in nostalgia, discover delightful local flavors, and find the convenience you seek without ever leaving the island.

Unfortunately this place hasn't been the same since Zach left. I used to work there, and my friends were there today when the young Indian man who I've never met made a really rude comment about me. There's a cheaper liquor store right across the bridge for people who don't want to continue supporting the racist owner here.

This place was convenient to the island & that's where the benefit ended. It seemed clean enough inside but a lot of items looked old or out of place. Definitely over-priced & no sales. I got home & gave my kids the pop tarts & opened the raisin bran I bought there. After pouring a bowl of cereal, I noticed both boxes had cobwebs inside the packaging amongst the food, as well as small brown WORMS. Expiry on cereal was 6/21 (6 months in the future) so it only went bad because of the location. I hope OSHA finds this place!!
