I had to change my five stars to one. The staff is still super friendly. The place is spotless and secure. However, you can get your unit at a super low promotional cost so they reel you in, but the price will more than double after that 6 month period is over. I've switched units twice to get the lower price. Why spend double what a new customer is going to pay for 6 months for the same size unit? With all the storage places popping up, you'd think they would want to keep the customers that they have had for years. I'll be shopping around.... again.

My husband and I have rented the storage unit for about a year and a half and every now and then we come in and take things out or put them in. Every time everything went quickly, there is good service, the place is climate-controlled and the place is always clean. Every request we made was handled immediately by the manager Tim was he always greeted us with a smile and was very, very friendly. I highly recommend the place and want to thank Tim for everything.

We were charged $100 more this month and Sean at the place couldn't do anything. I called 3 times to speak to a District Manager only to find out he closed our complaint but did not issue a refund! This is bullshit..we want our credit..we did not change units or were ever late paying.
For the district manager not even call is beyond me I would never rent from them again

Had a very good experience at SmartStop in Fort Pierce. Jim was very helpful every time I went there. Polite, professional and with the best customer care. I highly recommend it !!

After writing this review and being extremely busy this location doubled my monthly and when questioned at the location I was told by the manger I was paying too little After 4 months, bad people, another scam to rob.
