I found some kittens next to my house and they were surround by frogs and I watched them for two days and no mommy cat to come and take them, I went there and tried to give them to the humane society as they probably have better luck taking care of them than I do. And the lady working there told me to just put them back next to the frogs and I was really upset because if for two days the mommy cat didn’t take them what did she think would happen. Luckily and older lady who had walked in after me, was looking for cats and she works at the humane society in vero and she took them saying that she was disappointed in this facility for not giving the two kittens a chance, I’m happy that I was able to give them to someone who had experience but not happy that this facility didn’t want to take them in.

Very disappointed in this facility. Not very welcoming or inviting! We went to the facility to look for a puppy for we just lost our boy of 15 years. As soon as we walked in we was told to look at a book. We are not allowed to walk around and see the dogs. We were told the youngest dog they had up for adoption was a year old but turn around to see a litter of puppies. We asked about the puppies and was told they are not available. In possibly a few weeks they could be up for adoption but gave us very limited and no information on the dogs. Needless to say we had turned around and walked back out. Seems there not in the business to find these poor guys for ever homes as advertised for I would have took one today.

My ~2 year old daughter and I visited on 7/16/24. We came early before they were open and decided to walk around outside and wave hello to the community cats (that are very well taken care of by the way). When they opened, I signed the waivers right away on my phone with the super convenient QR code at the front desk. Afterwards, my daughter and I were able to see / play with kittens, cats and the puppies in the front room. The kennels were closed but we were assured we could visit with any dog we’d like and take them out to the play yard to interact with them. The people who help run this place are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The animals are all well taken care of, the facility is clean and my daughter and I really enjoyed spending time with all of the animals. We will definitely be coming back and looking into adopting soon. Even if you’re not in a place to adopt, I totally recommend coming by to visit these sweet fur babies and donating whatever possible to help assist them. Thank you for a wonderful experience… we will be back very soon!
