DON’T DO IT!!! Just awful! Front desk lady was soooo rude, the shower was plugged with hair…my husband had to dig it out just to so we could shower. We left a fan in the room, called up a couple hours after we left and was told they had no clue, wouldn’t go look for us and told to call back the next day…we did and were told nothing was turned in. WE KNOW WE LEFT IT IN THE BATHROOM…told her that and said she has no idea…when i told her they stole it, she had nothing to say…when i told her we were going to leave bad reviews, she said do what ya gotta do….what??!! DO NOT STAY HERE….SERIOUSLY!!

I didn’t stay there, but I feel like a jerk for suggesting it to my friend. I wish I had read the reviews. The pro to staying there is that your close to everything. But there are far nicer hotels that are in the area. The cons are as follows, floors filthy, homeless staying at the pool, young child witnessed fighting at the pool, unlicensed cars parked in front of my room for days and staff ignored the issue when I brought it to their attention. Will never recommend it again. Oh, they claim to have a laundry area that’s wrong. The washer and dryer are outdoors in the heat and they’re filled with bugs….geez!

Booked here for 4th of July weekend as last minute reservations (non refundable) and was tricked by the photos they posted. It is NOTHING like it, definitely not worth $250 per night. The ONLY good thing about this place is the location. But 1 star at best. At greet or welcome when you come check in. ROOM: When u open the door, first step in is the bed.. after the 2nd bed is the bathroom.. and that’s the whole room. Not closet area or extra space. The cigarette or weed smelled so bad, it’s on the curtains and walks. Floors sticky and dirty, your feet is black within few steps. Very hot, no ventilation in bathroom you could pass out while using restroom. So small that when I extend my hands out both sides reach the walls. The door has a HUGE gap/space, like someone could break in.As I see the 5 star reviews I have to guess that’s it’s got to be from ppl staying at a different location bc it can’t be here.My advice is to stay elsewhere, for you safety and health being.

Arrived at the hotel an hour early after driving 466 miles to find out that my room was ready but if I checked in early, there would be an extra fee for early check-in. No. I went to visit my brother. They called me twice after check-in time to see when I would arrive. Did get checked in and went to room and it stunk like stale cigarette smoke. Asked for another room. Got it and found no place to put suitcase. Went to lobby and found housekeeper and he opened the smokers room and got me the luggage rack from there. All good. Nope. No ice bucket. Another trip to lobby. No hairdryer, another trip to lobby. The room door has at least a 1” gap under it. The outside of the hotel looks nice but that is as far as the amenities go. Very disappointed. This hotel certainly is not up to Wyndahm standards.

There are lots of negative reviews, I would have seen the posts with the photo evidence before i am booking. The location is great and prime there is no doubt about that and nearest public beach is just 10 mins drive. Major water activities are in Destin beach which is 15 to 20 mins. But the hotel room, the interiors are very old and most of the things was not working like lights, hot water(one time) etc. The washer and dryer is only one unit for all the rooms that too is in outside with rust. I definitely not recommend for family to stay, the bathrooms are tiny and toilet is small not convenient for middle/ over sized people. At a time only one person can freely move. The website was showing breakfast included but actually it is not. Considering the discount and staying in this hotel definitely not worth it.

I will never stay at a days inn again. Rude service desk person, room floors felt like sand , smell of weed in room , bathroom light flickering and toilet seat loose as ...omg ? roaches in bathroom light ..no tissues...just stating the facts. TV was a joke...remote control didn't change channels so we did it the old fashion way! Entrance door ? to our room was not sealed so any bug ,snake, or whatever can get in our room. And the microwave was nasty and the refrigerator..the freezer needed defrosted.

Vagrants knocking on my door and lerking within feet of my door as I enter and exit. I left I could not find another hotel at 10pm during high tourist season. Yes the pullow had someone else's long black hair on it the the bedding look worn and did not smell fresh. My feet did get dirty just walk on the vinyl floor. The walls is very thin and can hear Everything. The door the rooms face to a alley with a worn wood fence. Where I suspect vagrants lerk and watch who is coming and going and who is alone and vulnerable to prey on. The knocking on my door was annoying and scary.By just complaining to the clerk. I got no professionalism from her. In my opinion and observation, This hotel is for poverty clients that have to stay due to homelessness. By reporting the activity I felt it made me even more a target of risk. So I left and had to go pay triple for last min booking. Planned for two nights. Arrived at 8:01pm left 1 1/2 hours of arrival and 9:47pm. Too much shady here way to early in the night. These vagrants and long term guests are bold about intimidating. To be clear I travel all over the US and often alone. I do not spook easy. So this place needs to figure their problems out. They stay booked yes but with what I suspect is long clients. Still waiti g on a response from Manager Abhi ChauhanI will be writing a email to the franchise Days INN. It needs NEW OWNERSHIP.Rachel Barr travel RN

Me and my kids stayed here from June 26-June 30 and I don't know why people are leaving such horrible reviews. The staff was very friendly and our room was very clean, was even able to get extra towels and everything when I asked, when I asked for no one to clean the room they honored that and never bothered us. Our room keys stopped working twice due to something I done and they didn't hesitate to get it fixed very quickly. The staff was very friendly and they knew you by name. I definitely will be booking here for our next family vacation, Thank you Days inn in Fort Walton for making our stay very memorable.Rooms: Very clean and stocked with the essentials

Well, it is NOT a $179-$229 a night motel. Total misleading Google pictures and Days Inn website that I utilized to book this in advance.1. No complimentary LIGHT breakfast. Coffee, that was it;2. Toilet leaked like the Titanic;3. Front lobby is in horrible shape and does not look like the pictures; The BEST part of the stay was the service. The young ladies were AWESOME. Beds slept good and the A/C blows cold.At best, a 2 star. More like a 1 star.Rooms: Good Beds and COLD A/CFood & drinks: Coffee, That is it.

If I could give no stars I would! Absolutely horrible! Room stunk so bad I had to go to the store and buy frebreze! Empty condom boxes in the drawers! Had homeless people and crackheads yelling and walking by our room all night. It’s a motel with rooms on the back with no parking. The pics online are absolutely not this location! So bad we checked out early and went to another place.

We couldnt sleep for the owners tv blaring all night. At 2:30 am there was a drug deal outside our room. We heard the convo. We planned on staying two nights but after that we wanted to GTFO. As we are leaving, there are homeless people who appear to be tweeking sitting on the steps. They wouldnt move so I could get down the steps... just not a good visit. Not a good hotel. The only plus was the beds were clean. The little fridge didnt keep our drinks cold. Just too expensive for no bells and whistles and then to have to be worried about leaving your room.Noteworthy details: Do not stay here

The floor was so dirty my feet would turn black in a matter of minutes. The sheets and bedding were stained very badly. However that isn’t even the worst part of our experience. The first night we were there, we saw a mouse run out from under the ac unit. When we informed the lady at the front desk, she was so nonchalant about it. She didn’t not look up from her phone while stating that since her manager wasn’t in she could only offer us a new room. It was 11 o’clock at night and we had to move all our things to a new room. Which didn’t help anything because the next night we saw another mouse come from behind the bed. It was not just one room invested with mice but the whole building. We didn’t inform the front desk of this mouse since we weren’t interested in moving rooms again. This was hands down the worst hotel I have ever been to. The staff was rude. I would rate it 0 stars I could.

When I saw all of the bad reviews, I nearly didn’t stay. But since it was our last result, I figured let’s just tough it out and leave early. When we got to the hotel, the lady at the front desk was incredibly nice. When we got our room, we checked for roaches and potential evidence of roaches, that review wasn’t true, there were no roaches. The beds were clean and so was the bathtub. I give this place 5 stars, clean, friendly, and great pricing.Rooms: Simple & clean. Don’t know why there were bad reviews on the beds, they were pretty nice.Nearby activities: The beach is 1 mile away and there’s a really cool chicken restaurant right by the location. Just right up the streets there’s a Publix and down a bit a WinnDixie. Great location - lots of traffic in the front though.Safety: Calm & simple area, didn’t seem like anybody was doing anything sus.Walkability: 15 minute walk to the beach, 30 minute walk to Publix. 5 minute walk to Slim Chicken. Easy money.
