Timothy Smith and staff are incredible! I am late in posting this because my appointment was about a month ago and I realized I had not shared my experience. After a very comprehensive hearing test he referred me to an ENT. It turned out to be something that could be corrected. If he had not referred me I never would have known it was correctable. They are all incredibly kind and caring. You would not regret seeing him.

Mt son's hearing aid tube broke this morning so i just needed a new tube, I went to Gulf Coast Hearing Center fwb and was there 3 mins, she took the hearing aid to the audiologist, came out less than 2 mins later and said she put a new tube and it was fixed. I was very thankful and asked what do I owe you for the tube. Should be a $2 tube. We'll, she charged me $45 for an office visit! $35 visit $10 tube. Wtf?! they didn't tell me they were charging me for an office visit or I would have ordered off Amazon and did it myself but needed it today. What has happened to humanity?! Was literally there 3 mins total, never left the reception desk and was charged a visit fee #gulfcoasthearingcenter

Highly recommend Gulf Coast Hearing in Ft Walton and Navarre, Tim Smith, for your hearing test and hearing aid needs. Tim Smith is absolutely fantastic and patient. He has been super delicate and patient with my mother who’s been having ear and hearing problems and troubles figuring it all out. He has a terrific “bedside manner” and really expresses care for his patient more so than turning a profit. It truly feels like patient first here and that’s really awesome!

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. The staff and doctor went above and beyond to help me with my Phonak hearing aid. I was in Fort Walton Beach to see our son who is stationed there. One of my hearing aids was not working properly and I thought it was simply a wax guard that needed to be changed. I didn’t have any and called them to buy some.They took my hearing aids and cleaned them and unbeknownst to me the doctor or staff looked at the hearing aids and found a receiver part was bad and replaced it. They called Phonak for warranty support, gave me a packet of wax guards and sent me on my way at no charge. I certainly didn’t expect that for their time and effort.I haven’t encountered care and kindness like that in ages. Thank you! Highly recommend without question!

I am not a current patient, but stopped in to ask a question about VA issued hearing aids. The team took over, made numerous phone calls and helped me tremendously on a warranty claim. Even though not a customer they took several minutes made several phone calls and really made a difference saving me a time, money, and frustrating. Thank you Angel and Tim!

I sent them two emails. One before my exam and one after. They did not respond to either. Benn a few weeks. Still no reply.Guy that gave the exam had a constant smirk on his face. I kind a felt uncomfortable.

I had a morning appointment, and received a call 45 minutes before that time to say the Dr. would not be able to make it in for another 1.5 hours after my scheduled appt. time. I rearranged my own morning schedule to make it work, then arrived on time, letting the receptionist know that I had just that scheduled 1 hour now that the time had been changed for my hearing test and hearing aid consult, before I had to return to work. I arrived on time, was the Drs first patient of the day and waited in the waiting room for 20 minutes of my 1 hour appointment. I was then taken back and had a thorough in-booth "beep" session, short bone conductivity test, and automated "can you repeat what the voice says" test. I felt as though the testing was good. The Dr. was increasingly friendly/nice and explained things thoroughly as we went along. We were left in a time crunch after the testing, for the hearing aid portion, but the Dr. took me back to her office, and explained in detail the pattern of my hearing loss, and I felt really good about her explaining my findings to me. She then quickly assembled and synced a high quality hearing aid to my audiology findings, explained to me the basic settings, and had me out of there only 10 minutes late for work. Overall, my ONLY complaint was not being taken back upon arrival so that I could have had the full appointment hour (that really was needed) and thus been able to spend more time with the hearing aid consult and not been stressed being late to work as a result. But in the end, I was happy with my consult with her (the Dr.). The consult was free, as was the hearing aid trial. I will be returning to this location.

My wife and I are from Louisiana and came to Destin for vacation. I went to the pool for a swim at the condo we were staying at and when i was out I went to put my hearing aid on and couldn’t hear a thing. My wife and I went to three different hearing centers and when we got to Gulf Coast Hearing Center there was the doctor and receptionist, both very helpful and nice. The doctor was very attentive and asked to see the hearing aid and went to the back for about 5 minutes and when done came back to me, tried on the hearing aid and i was able to hear perfectly again. He was very professional and I am very thankful for his help, at no charge! God bless y’all
