Love taking my dog here to use the pet wash. Nice store and friendly staff. I went there the other day and they had dog cookies for $.50 the money goes towards the Humane Society. Good to see this.

Everybody is so nice. The manager is pretty knowledgeable about the subject of fish Ik because I asked questions about tetras and she knew exactly what I was babbling about.

We went here because we were visiting Florida and we were looking for a carrier for our dog so we could get from one place to the other better. They did not have the item, but they were very helpful and giving us references for places that were nearby to find the item which nobody had so we're gonna have to order it online, but they were very friendly.

Thought that maybe it was a freak thing when every time that I have been to this store I was not assisted. So I came in today when there were no other customers and I started counting how many employees walked past me without so much as a "welcome to pet supermarket" SIX EMPLOYEES walked between me and what I was looking at, only once did someone even say excuse me. Give your business to blue water zoo. I should also add that every fish that I've bought here has died even though we are extensive fish keepers. I will continue to shop at blue water zoo and online.

Very poor customer service . Everything we brought rang up at least a buck more at the register then the price marked on the item. Make sure you check the price as it rings up i did not. Wife had to call and complain to a manager. This was on Feb 9th 2019. Isles are so narrow only one person and fit down them. Staff is not very helpful least not in the fish dept. I wanted to get some fish got tired of waiting and went to another store all in all it might be an OK place to run and get dog food but if you want knowledge and service your better of going to any other shop.

This store has gone downhill... The only good service I have received at this store was with Trey! Others workers/managers are lazy.. I walked in and Krys was on her register chatting with Rachel and doing nothing and went to ask for help because the associate on the register had a line. Then was told "the associate will help you when they are done" the two of them are poor excuse for management. The store used to be great I would go there for EVERYTHING.. Now, I won't go in there for anything. I hope you read this and take a good look into other pet stores. Petland has great and knowledgeable people and fair prices, bluewater zoo is amazing for anything fish and reptiles (locally owned too), and PetSmart.. well still an upgrade from pet supermarket..

If I could give it a zero, I would! Horrible customer service. Good luck finding someone to assist you or even check you out.

This letter is in regards to the events that transpired between myself and your sales associate, Trevor, at PetSupermarket, store number 132 in Ft. Walton Beach, FL on February 19, 2017. I had just received news that I needed to make an emergency trip to Knoxville, TN as my cousin (age 43) had been in a severe car accident. She was in ICU on life support with not much chance for survival. It was suggested that I arrive immediately. As a result of receiving that news, I was in a state of high anxiety and fear. I asked my sister to secure flight arrangements for myself and cat to fly into Knoxville as soon as possible while I packed for the trip. Because I had not previously flown with my 14 year old cat, I did not have the approved carrier to transport her per airline regulations. My sister called PetSupermarket, store number 132, and spoke with Trevor shortly before 6:00 PM to check price and availability for the approved airline carriers. I was comforted to hear your store stocked the item and I could pick it up in time to catch a flight later that evening. After arriving at the store at approximately 6:30 PM, I was relieved to find Trevor, the employee my sister had spoken with about the carrier. I asked him to go over the details about the specs and pricing with me. I wanted to be sure the airlines would accept the carrier so I would not have any difficulty at the airport boarding the plane. Trevor responded with very aggravated and defensive behavior. I informed him of my cousin's condition, and the urgency for me to make the correct carrier purchase and catch a flight within the hour. I tried asking him a few more questions about the specifics of the carrier such as weight capacity and dimensions. Trevor remained rude, insensitive and uncompassionate given the circumstances. I asked him if there was a problem and he replied indeed there was! He said he did not like having the information he had given my sister over the phone challenged. I explained, yet again, this was all new information for me and I only wanted confirmation before my purchase. I then requested a manager and Trevor strongly stated that he was the manager on duty. I was visibly upset and could not believe how Trevor handled the situation as well as his overall lack of customer relation skills. His utter disregard of the sensitive subject matter in addition to my need for a carrier in an emergency situation was unacceptable. I would not have made the purchase (receipt attached), but taken my business elsewhere had time permitted me to do so. Incidentally, my cousin died less than 12 hours later. I was under the impression pet store employees are typically kind, gentle and compassionate due to pets being considered part of the family. I was sadly mistaken after this horrific experience with Trevor. I do not feel he needs to be working in any customer service capacity much less in a managerial position. I sincerely hope he does not treat all of your customers in this manner. Regardless, I will not be shopping for my pet supplies at your store in the future, nor referring any friends or family. I felt someone in regional management needed to be aware of Trevor's attitude and his representation of PetSupermarket at your Ft. Walton Beach location. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Regards, Tamara Penn

My dog and I really like this place. She heads straight for the door as soon as we get out of the car. Everyone I've interacted with on staff has been friendly and very helpful. They helped me out when I wanted to switch dog foods, and their recommendations and information has been spot on. I would recommend this store to any of my friends with pets.

I came here looking for some doggy snacks, definitely came to the right place. They have a wide variety of doggy treats at very fair prices. They carry a lot of natural, organic and grain free products. I could spend hours just looking at all the different dog treats. The store is very clean and well organized. The workers were very friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up spending about $8.00 on a 3.5oz bag of salmon fillets, a 5oz bag of mini Old Mother Hubbard, and an individual Greenies toothbrush.

Ran in for a special treat for my dog Ollie. They didn't have what I was looking for but seemed to have a decent selection. The store was clean, pricing fair and an associate was readily available if I were to need assistance. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but it is in a nice location (Uptown Station) if you're in Ft. Walton.
