This used to be a "nice" thrift store. Now it's filled with used stuff that's very junky. (like what was bought at a dollarstore and used. Not sure what caused the change, but there's no need to come back here.

I have supported PAWS and the Junkyard Dog for years (despite some shelter practices I wasn't happy about when I volunteered there and served on the board). I've also fostered puppies and kittens and over the years have adopted five dogs from them. Beyond that I've donated thousands of dollars worth of furniture, original artwork, vintage dinnerware, antiques, a Kitchenaid mixer, actual money, etc. But - finally - I've reached the end of my rope with this organization after the way they treated their longtime manager (former volunteer for many many many years) Candace. Just awful. It's board politics at its worst. Never again will I donate to this organization or this shop. There are plenty of rescues, charities and organizations who will receive/appreciate my donations from now on. I could say more, but will stop there.

Many items available. With one exception, the staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately she seems to be second in charge. She offers discounts to some (which we can see), and denies discounts to others (which we can also see). She treats some customers with courtesy and others with aggression. This makes us uncomfortable to be in the store.

Coming from Texas, this has been a WONDERFUL shop for my family. This store is not only friendly with many workers greeting you, but with DOGS. As my mom has always told me "you never know if a dog might bite". But coming from my animal lover heart, these dogs were more than sweet and gentle. The proceeds also go to animals in need, and is NON PROFIT. If you are to love thrifting, antiques, animals, or just nice workers/ people...please come to Junkyard Dog. From me to this thrift shop, this was the highlight of my day and hope it comes to make others. If you stop by, please try to donate too! All animals are deserving of a home, and remember to give Sammy and Sky (the dogs) head pats and many compliments!

This drive past thrift store holds so many wonderful treasures! It may just look average from the outside, but within those doors it holds so many great items! There is anywhere from vintage, to retro, to collective, to modern! The staff is so helpful and friendly! They really do love their store! My husband and I live in Texas and we were in the area on vacation. We ended up having to rent a tow behind uhaul to transport all of the amazing furniture items we found!! The prices were amazing, the staff and owner was more than helpful, it was a true blessing the experience we had! Can't wait to go back!

I like to stop in here and see if I can ever find any treasures but their prices are just so high.

Overpriced and unorganized. However, they had decent prices for towels. The only decent pricing was on the Christmas items which were half (1/2) price. Look, thrift stores get their items for free... gouging someone for used good (no matter the cause or charity it supports) is not good business and morally wrong. Reasonably priced items are still a plus when you're getting the items for FREE.I don't recommend this store solely because of the prices.
