Their people broke a part on my hot water heater...refused to fix it or "can't" fix it...so I have to order it and have it installed....are they going to reimburse me for several days with no hot water and the bill for a repair that they caused???

Took advantage of an opportunity to hook up to gas without having to pay the huge initial connection fee. Had new gas hot water installed and plumbed for a gas stove and generator. They work was completed in a timely fashion and the employees were very professional.

New service was installed backwards. This wasn't identified until our plumbers ran the gas lines to where the service was placed by Okaloosa Gas. The plumbers had to come back out and run a large ugly pipe along the side of the house to meet the new location once the meter was put in correctly. They didn't offer to do it themselves or provide any type of compensation for us having to pay the plumbers to come back out and fix their mistake.They will not provide a time that they can come to your house. This forced us to take a day off (Thursday) just waiting for them to show up and turn our service on. NO ONE SHOWED UP! So I took a day off work for nothing. When I called and asked about it (Friday morning), I was just told they would come out after the weekend.If this company didn't have a monopoly on the market there is no way I would use them.

It was 4 p.m. when I walked into the office and told the office ladies that I think that I smell gas inside my house. They immediately started to fill out a report. They told me to go home and that they would have someone meet me. I got back to the house and Dalton showed up 5 minutes later. He thoroughly went through the house, garage and outside. He found a small leak in the furnace in the garage. I can't thank them enough for their quick response. Dalton was very efficient and knowledgeable. Good job!

Go online to pay bill? Aways says “this site is temporarily down for maintenance. Please try again later”Call to pay? Keep going in circles with entering account number. (It says enter account then # to continue. Or # to go back) see the cycle? Then if you get to the next phase it says something similar to the first part and it can confuse people.Or go to a person and after 2 seconds it cycles you back to the menuOr look online for locations and online says they are closed depending on how you looked them up!Frustrating! Whats wrong with the site? It always says its down

I wouldn't advise hiring Okaloosa Gas to install a tankless water heater. Hell, I wouldn't advise using their service at all.I contracted Okaloosa Gas to run a new service line and perform a tankless water heater installation. The contract was signed on August 10, and there were no updates as to when the work could start. I emailed a few times to check in, and was told boilerplate.In early September, I emailed the sales rep to give a range of dates where I'll be unavailable for work to be performed due to business travel. The sales rep must have overlooked this detail. Their technicians came to my house on the 27th to start the job, without notifying me in advance. They were surprised to know I wasn't in town, despite having notified the sales rep that I would be out of town. They cut my gas and have not made the time to restore my service.So, I've been without hot water since the 27th while I wait for their service to find time to finish the job they started without my approval.I was scheduled to have the work continued today, 07 OCT for the morning window. Today, that schedule magically slipped to noon. It's now 1300 and I've yet to see a single worker at my house.Also, their customer service reps don't have access to work scheduling information, so are typically not helpful other than for paying bills and general inquiries.I'm seriously considering cutting my gas service and going all electric. My hot water heater is the only thing in my house which utilizes natural gas.

Let me start off by saying every single time I’ve called up there the women who answer are rude. My current situation though is that I misplaced my copy of the bill. I knew my bill was past due. I did not receive a phone call or a letter in the mail with a disconnect date. I went on their website under account information, scrolled down, and saw it said I had until 07/29/21 to pay or it may be disconnected. Well then today, 07/28/21 my gas was disconnected. I would have had the money to go first thing in the morning tomorrow like their website showed I could. NOW they are saying they sent a letter with a disconnect date of 07/27/21 which I did not receive. They also said they tried to call but I never received a call. The customers should be able to depend on the date THEY PUT on their website. Now I am being forced to pay even more to turn it back on and it won’t be back on until tomorrow or the day after. I cook by gas so I’m not sure how I’m suppose to feed my elderly grandparents or children. You really should have more reliable information on your website.

If I could leave less than 0 stars I would. This is the worst gas company I have ever dealt with. It seems as though they only have 3 people who work there and even then those 3 people have some sort of issue with helping their customers. I can't believe this is day 5 of me chasing them down to get my gas turned on. Chris Nixon seems to have the lightest knock when he comes by because we never hear him and he just leaves a note that he tired to come by. I will be leaving a report with the bbb. This is absolutely the worst gas company we have ever dealt with.
