I'm not surprised they're overrun with animals that need homes. I've adopted animals in 3 states at shelters and rescues, and their staff are the most unprofessional people I've ever dealt with. Two 2-hour round trips and both times left without the cats we were interested. We were told that they didn't hold cats and every cat was available. We arrived, picked out a cat, and were told that cat was on hold. Next time, I made sure the cat was available, told them when we would be there, but they never bothered to tell us the cat wouldn't be. They might be less busy if they behaved more professionally to potential adopters.

I have NEVER in my life seen such TERRIBLE customer service!! Very rude and unhelpful "front desk worker". You would think that being in such a field, you would want to help people adopt the animals but nope, not here. The large blonde lady in the front needs to be fired and replaced with someone with compassion and love for the animals! The volunteers were nice, there are a lot of choices of animal friends to choose from but unfortunately, they are not being cared about from the people that are actually employed there. I will be looking into contacting an owner or someone who can help me sort this issue out. Very sad to say.

Worst customer service we have ever encountered. Trinity that deals with the cats needs to be fired. She never reaches out like she is suppose to, she argues with you if she doesn’t agree, makes excuses to talk you into adopting more than you can handle, calls customers liars but is proved wrong time and time again just to name a few things she has done. Just an overall disgusting excuse for someone who is in “customer service.” If she treats people like this, who knows how she treats the animals when no one is around. All the other staff are polite and helpful. Avoid Trinity like the plague.

Absolutely horrible. They brought our cat in and didnt even try to scan his chip. And automatically assumed he was feral because he was "unhappy". No duh, you kidnapped him from his home. You litterally posted thay he was picked up off our street. Not even like in another neighborhood. And they could have easily scanned him. They did it in 30 seconds when we showed up. The scanner was already taped to a yard stick and everything. There is absolutley no excuse for their neglect. They returned him malnourished and having been kept in the feral area. And the whole facility was disgusting. Iv been to many shelters in the past and this one is the most neglected i have ever seen or smelled. They even said they gave him shots and junk because they assumed he was feral. But couldnt have scanned his chip when he was brought in to notify us immediately! Thats the whole point of the chip! Its standard operating procedure! You bring in an animal whats the first thing you do? SCAN FOR A CHIP. Absolutely disgraceful.

Officer Averill with the PAWS team was AMAZING. We had a stray rooster that needed help and she came right out and captured him safely and with such patience. I was very concerned for its safety after he was captured, but she ensured me he would be alright and that they were a no kill shelter. Everyone in the neighborhood was very thankful and relieved today!

I have been trying to adopt a baby kitten for my teenage daughter from this place this week and the service I have experienced is horrible. The lady I spoke with twice today in the clinic was very rude and unhelpful. Told me they only adopt kittens out in pairs so they don't develop single cat syndrome. I have raised so many cats I have ever had a cat that wasn't happy to have a home. They don't respond to emails and they are promoting an event until July 31st for $25 adoptions but told me it's $50 and never mentioned the event going on. Seems like they care more about money than these kittens having a good home. Bless these furry babies.

I find it difficult to write about PAWS. They used to have a reputation for putting the animals down. They tell me they don't do that anymore.I had a feral cat who had babies. The babies looked like they needed medical attention, and I knew I couldn't afford it. So, I took the babies to PAWS. The first thing I noticed was the overabundance of animals kept there. I wonder what happens to those that don't get adopted? Do they eventually get euthanized to control the population? It broke my heart to see those kittens shiver in fear. Please, PAWS, take care of them and give them the medical attention they require. One thing that is needed is a pill to help get feral cats fixed. There are so many running wild. It's crazy that such a pill hasn't been developed yet
