“This sore is "Always clean, no debris in the aisles, nothing blocking the aisles,it's just a pleasant atmosphere. Alianis is a great team player, Everytime I see her she's sporting a smile and she seems to have a healthy relationship w/ her coworkers as I've seen her multiple times over a year & 1/2 working alongside others stocking shelves. When you have this type of comraderie it just is a breath of fresh air for the customers! "Way to go Dollar Tree in High Springs!" ??”

“Dollar general has so many locations, you can always find one. This one is well maintained, stocked, and the staff are very helpful.
However... Dollar general locations almost always have only one entrance into the parking lot, so you have to reverse at some stage in your visit. That effectively rules out RV's towing, which is a major no for RVers. Dg is missing a significant customer segment.”

Running a retail store right off the interstate—and directly across from the local Love’s—is no joke. This location faces a heavy, relentless influx of traffic, including a non-stop stream of travelers and truckers. The staff is constantly being pulled in a million directions, balancing their daily tasks while helping customers navigate the store. And let's be real: since no two Dollar Generals are ever laid out the same way, they are answering “where is this?” all day long! (Not a bash to the store, but the corporate layout logic is truly a mystery of the universe 😉). Yet, they handle it amazingly.

I also noticed some complaints in other reviews that I feel compelled to address. First, regarding the Mustang parked in the front corner spot: as a woman who understands the realities of closing a store at night, the complaints about this are entirely unfair. Being right off a busy highway means safety is the absolute priority. Parking right by the front door ensures that employee has a fast, direct, and safe path to her car or back inside if a suspicious character is lurking. It’s a common-sense safety measure, not a privilege.

Second, to anyone commenting on cleanliness: if you haven’t personally worked a grueling shift at a Dollar General, Dollar Tree, or Family Dollar, please give these workers some grace. Go apply, walk a mile in a service worker's shoes, see how much chaos they manage on a skeleton crew, and then look at things with a little more perspective. Until you've been in their position, kindness and empathy should come first.
