They are amazing, kind, and caring. The entire family was so worried about our little baby. He came out of his surgery well. His quality of life will be SO much better, the humans that love him will have less worry. We are grateful for them, their hard work, and the loving way they treat the patients and families alike. Dr Baxter has helped us with our pets since we moved to Freeport. With the exception that they are really busy, it has been a good relationship.
Update. We have brought our pets here to Dr Baxter for several years now. We have never spared any expense on the health management of our pets.
Last week, I had an appt for an injection for my dog’s arthritis. It’s a quick appointment and this once, I forgot! I dropped him off the following day with no appt, just the standard drop off and wait til they finish. We did get back to pick up my dog about lunch time but the receptionist said I had a $35 old bill. I asked her to inquire in the back as to why. She said it was because I had missed the appointment. It seems that I had missed another one before but I have no idea when. I asked Jerry M. the Vet tech and he said that that was the way it was. I didn’t cancel, postpone or change. I just forgot. That happens, right?
He became indignant over the $35 and I felt he was chastising me over it. He was making an example of me…wow!
I paid it and now I have to establish a new relationship with a new Vet. ? I didn’t mean to disrespect their time but I am an established patient and have paid thousands and thousands of dollars in vet bills. (I have never NOT paid).
Sad really! I love Dr Baxter!

Dr Baxter & all staff are Amazing, Sweet, Knowledge, Caring, etc!
I want to do a Special Review about Taylor at the Front desk. She is so sweet and has exceptional customer service skills! Taylor is very helpful, sweet, patient and ready to answer any question!! And always has a welcoming smile on her face when you walk in the Pet clinic.

My 10-yr old Yorkie had 4 teeth removed during dental cleaning. The Vet Tech called me prior to removal for full disclosure, cost, risk assessment and Post-Op care required. They were very gentle, professional, and their follow-Up is excellent.He was sent home completely alert with a good care plan and meds. Dr Baxter and her Staff are great.

I love Dr Baxter. I just wish it was bigger and with another doctor. They are usually swamped, and though they have always gotten me in, if needed, Im always nervous that they can't. I will continue to go because I like the staff there.
