Outstanding job! We purchased a 2026 Buick Encore AWD, and Bob and his team came up with the right solution - baseplate, remote battery disconnect, lights/wiring, always-on 12V for our brake system - and did an outstanding job on the install. Wish we could give him more than 5 stars!

Stopped by because brake controller wasn't working. The crew stopped what they were doing and assessed what the problem was. They then rewired the factory harness and all works great
Highest recommendation for this company

There are not enough stars to give these folks. Awesome hard working people that go out of their way and the extra mile to provide the best service. Never had I had such amazing help and service. Even if I move I will always bring my RV and dollar back here. My axle needed replacing and was a custom part. The Epro. The day I was supposed to drop off My RV battery died in storage and they were a mile down the road. Cult came out to save the day and give it a jump and was able to bring it to their location. The fixed it that day. Vicki called that night that it was done. Bob and crew helped fix my hookup too which was off. I will be back.

While traveling with our 30 foot travel trailer to Lady Lake, Florida, we discovered our trailer’s electric brakes had lost much of their stopping power while parked in our previous campground. We encountered rain during our trip and when we arrived in Lady Lake, we noticed that we had regained a bit more stopping power. After researching local mobile techs, we called Bob’s Welding & RV Service. We explained our situation and Bob got on the phone with us. He listened as we described our problem. After ruling out several possible causes, he said he would need to see our trailer. Although they were booked up for at least a week, Bob told us he would squeeze us in if we brought it to their shop first thing Monday morning.
As we headed to their facility on Monday, we discovered that our brakes had significantly improved. It had rained for two days so when we got to the shop, Bob and I talked about the possibility of a corroded ground connection being the problem given that the brakes improved after being exposed to dampness. Bob, his son Colton and their assistant John, began tracing wires and indeed found and repaired a corroded wire nut. While under the trailer, the guys quickly discovered we had a broken suspension spring. They said they could fix that for us and rounded up the parts and set about replacing all 4 springs. When they finished, Bob wanted to test/adjust all the brakes and found that several needed adjustment even though we had them inspected and adjusted before we started our trip to Florida. Bob also found one of the brakes very difficult to adjust and asked if he could take it apart to see its condition. I readily agreed and he showed me that the magnet had substantial wear and that several wear indicators were worn away. We decided to have all the brakes replaced. By this time it was 2 P.M. but Bob and Colton said they would get it done for us that day if my wife and I drove to Ocala to pick up the parts. We did so and when we got back 2 hours later, the guys got our new brakes installed in about an hour. Bob also taped the tire rub spots on the trailer underbelly caused by the broken spring.
Our brakes & suspension are now working as they should. Bob, Colton and John, as well as Bob’s wife Vicky, all went out of their way to tackle our initial problem and then fix the other major issues that we did not know about and they had not expected to deal with. They spent the better part of the day working on our rig. Everyone was courteous and patient as they showed us what they found, answered questions and offered options on what could be done to fix our problems. They remained relaxed and friendly during the entire day even though we knew they were falling behind on their other scheduled work.
We can highly recommend them as they are honest, hard working folks who know what they are doing. They went above and beyond to help us be safe on our long trip back home and we believe that the amount they charged us for all the work was very reasonable. We are already planning to come back to this area in 2025 and if we do, we will call ahead to schedule our annual maintenance.

Excellent service, communication, and price. Twice while visiting family in Florida, our Winnebago View has needed a repair. First in 2022, the levelers had issues which Bob fixed, and we have had no issues since. Then in 2023, our Coleman air conditioner decided to give up. Bob replaced it with a Houghton unit, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Highly recommend this service shop.Service: Air conditioning

Bob's was the only place in the Ocala area a couple of years ago when I found a nut missing from my 5th wheel hitch that would help me out. The hitch had been installed incorreclty by the dealer. They spent several hours fixing something that could have gotten us killed. So this year when I was looking for a new hitch, they were helpful in pointing out options and the plus and minus of different brands. Their service is excellent and their work is quality. On top of that they are just really nice people!! It's a pleasure to find good people that do excellent work and don't rip you off.
