Idle Awhile Resort is a gorgeous 15-room hotel and restaurant right on the riverfront, where guests are welcome to arrive by boat and tie up at the covered slips or docks. It offers a laid-back, comfortable atmosphere with southern smiles and a relaxed pace, encouraging visitors to go hungry and relax rather than in a hurry. The menu features great food including BBQ egg rolls, salad, fried pickles, pizza, great pulled pork, and gator tail, along with great drink specials. The restaurant is open for breakfast on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8am to 11am, with lunch and dinner served from 11am until 8pm on weeknights and 9pm on weekends. Entertainment includes karaoke and live music. The staff provides welcoming and attentive service, leaving guests alone to enjoy their meal but always available when needed. With its awesome food, awesome people, and riverside setting, it is a place where many plan to return.

Vist often by boat,truck, and motorcycle. Staff is always friendly beer is cold and food is good. Highly recommend this place either by water or land. Only compliant is the dock would be very nice if they would put fenders over the exposed bolts on the pilinglings.
