“I love this vet. But more importantly, my dog loves this vet. They are always honest and upfront and they truly do not over charge for services. They are always incredibly kind and patient and also accommodating. My dog doesn't always like the vet and sometimes it's tough finding one he likes but he adores Dr. Floyd and lets her do anything she needs to... and trust me, thats quite the accomplishment lol. Her assistant is just as amazing. I'm so happy I chose this vet and can't imagine going anywhere else. And the care and love the whole staff shows the animals, its genuine. I love hearing them gush over the patients and I always know my pets are in good hands. If you're looking for your vet, the vet, the one you can trust and feel confident in, it's definitely Maybeck.”

“I took my Yorkie to the Melbourne clinic. She has a loose tooth. I took her there as they are accredited. (only 15% of vets in the USA and Canada are accredited) I was very impressed when I walked in. The office was spotless. Plenty of staff at the reception desk. Was quickly checked in. Didn't have to wait long before I was taken back to see Dr Bowden.She gave Missy her DAPP injection as she was overdue for it. She examined Missy. Discussed the treatment (extracting the loose tooth) The whole experience was good. I felt very comfortable there. They are a little more expensive than Missy's previous vet but well worth it The specialized training they have to go through to be accredited can't be cheap and has to be renewed every 3 years which means having to attend continuing education classes I believe. So know when you take your pet to the Animal Medical Clinic you are getting the best, and our pets deserve the very best.”

Have two old goldens that needed care after our move here. Everyone in office was friendly and welcoming. Our dogs were both examined during appointment and plan of well-care was developed. The Doctor and techs were intent and listened to history. I believe we have found our caregiver in Sebastian.”

The clinic was able to get us in the next day when other places were booking almost a month out. They were extremely nice and kind to us and made us feel comfortable immediately. They loved our cat Josie like she was their own. They were so great with her and our experience couldn't have been better- they even gave us an extremely generous discount. Highly recommend!”

“I have brought several pets here over the years and had no issues. Most recently, we brought in our cat who had labored breathing. It was my first time meeting Dr George and he was very caring and thorough. I see wonderful reviews from others about him and understand why. A few weeks after treatment, my cat had another episode and I had to take him to an emergency vet and he later passed. I had not notified Highlands yet but received a very nice card from Dr George, which was much appreciated. I'm assuming the emergency vet notified them.
My only issue here is that staff seem rushed and disconnected at times. I brought my cat in for urgent care and called in advance. While my cat was in his carrier with breathing issues and panting, the tech was looking at the screen going through his list (asking about nail trims, etc) and had not even looked at my cat to see his condition. I had to cut him off and once he looked in the carrier, things moved swiftly. Not sure if it is an issue with understaffing or training, but seems like that could be easily addressed. Overall, I recommend Highlands and especially Dr. George.”

“Great people! These are the nicest vets, tech, front workers ever! We've had a few emergencies, cancer surgery, uti's, all sort of health issues (several cats, all rescues) & having to let many cross over. They are so caring when this happens, unlike the emergency vet hospital, the process while hard as it can get is quick, gentle & caring.”

“I’ve brought my pup in for a dental cleaning the past two years. Although this isn’t our primary vet, we might have to switch because the staff and vets are so kind. My pup has reactivity and anxiety issues, and I was so surprised and happy to get a call saying he was being nice and cuddling with the team. As a vet med student, I can say with certainty that the environment absolutely makes the patient’s experience. Not to mention the prices are great, and they are so efficient!”
