The Clay County Fair Association operates the annual agricultural fair held in the spring. The site is absolutely clean and safe, with grounds and facilities in great shape. The vibe is a family one. There is lots of fun with new extreme exciting fair machines and rides for all ages. A fair is a fair with rides and highly unhealthy junk food, but there is food galore, including delicious options like a chicken wrap and pulled pork. They have concerts that are worth a drive, with VIP experiences done right. The overall process is well run. Everyone working or volunteering is super nice. It is a place where thousands of people walk around with their families and friends, enjoying farm animals and sights like the awesome balloons and the heartwarming traveling Frisbee dogs. Parking is free and shuttle carts are available. While some note it is better than other fairs, they hope it remains a safe and enjoyable family event.
