Update:Service Manager, Rob B., reached out via phone call (on 1/31) and extended an apology for the situation. During our conversation, I clarified that my frustration was not directed towards Mr. Clyde personally, but rather stemmed from the lack of proactive communication. This oversight resulted in me taking time off from work only to wait for 1.5 hours without any progress.I emphasized to Mr. Rob that the inconvenience extended beyond my role as a customer, affecting not only the Service Department's efficiency but also impacting Mr. Clyde and other customers who could have utilized the appointment time for services or parts readily available in stock. It's crucial to highlight that this lapse in communication had broader repercussions than just my individual experience....basically it was a waste of time for everyone.I expressed my genuine gratitude to Mr. Rob for promptly reaching out to address and resolve my concerns. His professionalism, transparency, and customer service is one of the reason my family will continue to choose Garber for both vehicle purchases, and service.---Arrived for my scheduled 9:30 am appointment on 1/31, checking in promptly at 9:25 am. Assisted by Mr. Clyde, who had initially scheduled my appointment on Monday, 1/29. Despite assurances that he'd keep me informed about the service duration, he neglected to do so after taking my keys.At 11 am (1.5 hours later), Mr. Clyde called my name and informed me that the parts needed to be ordered, contradicting the information provided in the letter I received from Neelie O'Connor at General Motors, which stated the parts were in stock. Expressing my frustration, Mr. Clyde appeared dismissive and chuckled when I mentioned I had been waiting for over an hour and I'm just now being told this. He hurried to return my key back to me, and held the door open (so I could leave), while stating he would call when the parts come in.I scheduled this appointment on Monday, 1/29, giving Mr. Clyde/ the Service Team ample time (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday morning) to confirm part availability. It is disheartening that they did not take the initiative before my appointment, or before taking my car back for service, especially considering that another representative, Ms. Minda, routinely and graciously does so every single time.In a professional setting, such a situation will necessitate taking an additional day off from work to accommodate the delay in my vehicle's service. I am disappointed by the lack of proactive communication, and the inconvenience caused.

Rob,Minda and the team were top notch. We had an issue with my daughter's extended warranty. Rob spent at least half an hour with us working it out. Awesome service all around.

This place has no idea what customer service stands for. The only employee in that building that honestly tried to help me is MENDA. 80,000$ truck with dead batteries because the system apparently has a glitch and does not shut off all electrical once I turn the truck off and shut the door and lock it up. And all I got from garber was an offer to fix it for 900$ for new batteries. I explained the problem to different garber employees all the way up to the service manager and got no where, but after talking to the service manager it was very obvious why no one else would really try to help me except MENDA, the real problem in that building is the service manager he trains everyone just to ignore the real problem in the vehicle and they just try to sell you more expensive problems. Thanks to the experience at garber the wife and I are about ready to get rid of our Chevy vehicles and get Ford or Toyota or anything else and get away from these huge electrical problems both vehicles are giving us, the worst part is Chevrolet the companies can’t force garber to fix our problem and garber has a culture that is extremely anti customer service.

I always enjoy going to Garber Automall, the customer service is some of the best I have seen. Minda really helped me with what I needed and when I need a ride to/from my house James was awesome! Garber did right by hiring these two!!

This was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had with an auto servicing center. I had the opportunity to work with service advisor Minda S. and she made the overall experience top tier. Her communication was seamless and she was very knowledgeable which was very impressive and impactful to me as a woman. I was having issues with my vehicle and typically this would be something that is stressing me out or keep me in a constant state of worry. This was not the case with Minda and the staff at Garber Chevy. I was surprisingly calm and I now have a better plan of action to upkeep my vehicle. Thank you Minda and Garber Chevy for understanding that my vehicle is an extension of my home and for taking very good care of our needs. If you truly value recommendations as I do, let this be a sign to shop or receive servicing through Garber Chevy!

Just wanted to take a moment to thank Mr. Clyde Stephens for his assistance with my 2018 Chevy Traverse brake light problem. As soon as I arrived this morning for my appointment, Mr Stephens immediately came out of the service dept office to greet me and led me inside to further discuss and prepare my car's issue for a certified technician to remedy the problem. After getting the results of the brake lighting issue, I was given an estimated cost associated with the repair so then, I advised him to further proceed with fixing the brake light issue. I was given the approximation for repair time and the work was executed within the estimated time frame as well as receiving the courteous car wash and vacuum. Overall, he was very courteous and professional!

As always, the service was excellent. Sheri (service advisor) and Wes (tech) are great. They keep you informed on the status of your vehicle, and they take the time to explain how more complex repairs are done. The work on my vehicle was completed in a timely manner, and my vehicle was returned clean and ready to go. I've searched for quite some time to find a shop I felt comfortable with, and I finally found it. The entire service department is professional, courteous, friendly and the job is done right the first time. Garber Chevrolet Buick GMC is about an hour drive from my home, but I don't mind driving the extra miles because I know they will go the extra mile to make sure my vehicle is properly maintained.
