Dr. Gwen Flinchum was very good with Aaron. Shaved his nails, took his weight, checked his stools. I received a Very Healthy Bird Report! Even Aaron is happier with the shaved nails.
I even purchased a bag of "High Potency Mash!" This food has extra vitamins and minerals to keep all birds feeling their Best.

We keep our birds with these folks when we travel. They do a great job! It is nice to know if something happens they are at the vet already.

Brought a duck here that was attacked by a dog. Leg was seriously injured. This vet refused to do Xrays (which I asked for twice), as she said, "she would KNOW if the leg was broken." Also did not offer antibiotics until after I asked for them. She said he would be better in 10 days. After 6 days, there was zero improvement, so I took him to another vet clinic. Not only was his leg completely broken straight through (the very FIRST thing the new vet did was take Xrays), but the injury could have become much, much worse because he was walking on a broken leg. We were devastated and could not imagine how much pain he was in. Thank GOODNESS we took him in to a new vet for a second opinion. We asked for a full refund from this vet.

The staff are so wonderful! Have been taking my bird Bailey there for a few years, and he loves it! They are so amazing with all the birds they care for! Highly recommend them to take care of your feather baby!

I brought in one of my baby pigeons who stopped being able to walk. The doctor told me she believes he had psittacosis and prescribed doxycycline as well as gave him some shots. My pigeon now is walking and as energetic as ever! She was very knowledgeable and helpful, as I was a mess fearing for the little guy’s life. She helped quiet my anxieties and saved his life!

misdiagnosed my bird. Did no bloodwork and simply declared that his organs were shutting down due to age. Took him to another vet for a second opinion because he was getting worse. It turned out it was metal poisoning! She did no labs…no X-rays! She is responsible for his death. She should not call herself a vet let alone an avian vet.

The Bird Hospital is the very BEST?❤️
They give full attention to each and every bird. Dr. Gwen Flinchum, Chris and the entire staff are amazing. There are not enough words to express all the Love they have. I’ve bet taking my bird here for many years and would never go anywhere else. He is so Happy when he goes to the Bird Hospital. I just want to Thank them for all of their experience and knowledge and Love.?

ZERO STARS! Worst experience EVER. The worst vet. If you are looking for someone to care for your bird do NOT go here. My quaker had irritation under her wing and brought her to see Dr. Gwen who ultimately put her in a sharp plastic cone that wrapped her wings to shreds. They have taken no responsibility for what has happened to my poor bird. They have not called me they have done nothing. I am so upset and they obviously don’t care about the animals there. I sent pictures and made several calls with no response from the vet. Dr. Gwen YOU are responsible for what happened to my bird and you are unwilling to do the right thing, shame on you.

Been taking my Caique here for a few years now.The interior decor is ridiculously old but the place is top-notch! The doctor is really good with my bird and is easy to talk to. She gives good, clear, simple instructions.The front office staff is always friendly and pleasant, even when I am scheduling appointments 6 months in advance! (I don't want to forget to schedule the appointment so I do it very early)I like the collection of birds they have in the office behind the counter, it can be VERY loud though. If you have a bird though, you probably know birds are LOUD.Overall, really great place. Definitely will be back.
