For the last 16 years Island Basket has been the best spot in South Florida! The food, the people, the vibes. It makes me happy to know I can go over and get a loaded plate of jerk chicken, ox tail and rice and peas, and know it’s gonna be tender, and delicious every time! A true staple of the community

I absolutely Absolutely love the red pea soup!!! Had it once in 2024 and made it a mission to get it when I came to visit. This is hands down the BEST soup I’ve had in my LIFE!!!!! Get here earlier in the day because it sells out FAST!!!!
