A lot of their items are overpriced. After my last visit there, I felt how dishonest their prices are. As a local, I visit there often and make donations. I was shocked to find one of my own articles of clothing with the original store price tag ripped off and priced higher than what I had paid. I'd rather give my stuff away for free on Marketplace after seeing that.

I really want to like waterfront. They do have really good items and stock frequently, but it really isn’t a thrift, it’s a resale store. They know the value of items and they price them for their value (many times WAY higher), rather than pricing them as a service to the community and at thrifty prices. I understand they have bills to pay, but other non profit thrift stores in the area are popping up and will hopefully cause competition for waterfront to lower their prices. I don’t know anyone who is working class or below that could afford this place. I’ve stopped donating there and generally have stopped going there to shop because there’s just something icky about their prices on used items that were generously donated. There seems just to be a lack of honor and virtue in their pricing. My opinion, but i think they can be better.

I understand that they have a mission they are trying to support but their prices are out of control. I went in for a tea pot & ended up browsing around. After picking up multiple pair of boots I realized all of their basic women’s shoes were $29. I found a pair that were very basic also listed at $29 and I ended up going the shoes to see what they were online brand new which was $32!! I asked a staff member what the deal was and she told me very snappy the best I can do is half price, yeah, no thanks. I also saw a woman there putting out new items and getting pissed because there was no room for them. You wouldn’t have an abundance of items if you had reasonable prices, it’s ridiculous here. I will never take my items here to donate (which I do often) because I don’t want them robbing people on the prices afterwards. Absurd. Please remove “bargain center” from your sign. Amazon is cheaper.

Terrible pricing. eBay print outs everywhere. No one who shops here not by choice can afford your ridiculous prices. I’ll never donate here again.

This used to be the first place I'd come to to shop. Used to have such reasonable prices. I don't know what's happened to this place but they have really become money hungry. They charge so much on used items sometimes even more then if you bought it brand new. And I'm so sick of their justification for price gouging on items being "well it's being sold on eBay for this much here's the listing we printed out to justify asking such unreasonable prices for used items." It's not like you guys paid for these items they were given to you for free! Yes some profits may be used that helps to feed the the hungry but what about the people that may not be homeless but still are struggling financially? Your just making it harder for them to find anything that's reasonably priced! Pretty shameless considering you're blasting Christian music in your store. I still can't believe they're asking $15 for candle that has already been burned. You better believe I will never be shopping or donating to this organization again! Shame on you!

Since Nikki Knight has been working at Waterfront in Gulf Breeze that store has made impressive improvements, such as the retail look and feel, the art area, better reading materials area and just a good welcoming from all the staff. Thank you!

Great place to shop if you have money to spend. Most items are now over priced. Lots of good stuff out there to see. Employees are great people and friendly. I gave it three stars due to over priced items that make it impossible for low budget shoppers to purchase. Save your $$$ and you will enjoy shopping there.

It was my first time visiting and scored some great items. But as I was shopping I felt someone hovering around me. I didn’t notice until I turned around and a woman that I assume works there, was right behind me. I tried to get around her and said “excuse me” to which she dismissed me. I was at the end of my visit when I realized she wasn’t too far away from me at all times. It wasn’t until I was at the register checking out that she even acknowledged me in any positive light. I’m a heavily tattooed woman. I would hope that has nothing to do with the treatment I felt I received today. I will say, the person at the register was very kind.

Cute store. Prices are ridiculous for thrift. I understand proceeds go to assisting less fortunate however people who shop thrift do so BECAUSE we are on a tight budget. Dang. Take from the poor to give to the poorer?
