Following my cancer treatment, my hair grew back with a completely different texture that felt rough and unmanageable. While my husband Bob gently warned me not to get my hopes up about bringing back my original curl, I had a feeling the Pageboy Shop was the right place to go. From the moment I walked into this unique, eclectic space filled with vintage items and David’s colorful whimsical paintings, I knew I was in good hands.
The transformation went far beyond my expectations. Jason, gave me a wonderful relaxing shampoo and scalp massage. David after listening to my sad tale, managed to coax my natural curl back to life and completely restored the softness of my hair. Beyond the technical skill, what truly made the visit special was the meaningful conversation we shared about our families, loved ones, experiences with cancer, love and loss. We laughed, cried, and shared so much heartfelt conversation it felt as though we had known each other for years. It was truly a therapeutic experience, and I am so grateful to have made fast friends with both David and Jason.

“This is one of my favorite stores in St Petersburg! There are endless things to look at and enjoy, and whenever there is a special occasion, this is where I get gifts for my friends and family.
The things I have collected so far, like a lovely Russian doll and a spinning music box of Saint Basil cathedral, among others, sit proudly on my shelf so everyone visiting me can admire them. I wear the exquisite seraphinite jewelry I got here almost every day, and it is such a unique stone as well! I haven’t seen it anywhere else but here.
Vladimir and his wife are very kindhearted people, and welcome me every time I come. He has helped fix a lot of my jewelry, too!”

“I just put some things in auction, Frank Meilser Wedding Sculpture, 1823 French Antique Roman Clock and several other items. So I am excited. The auction starts Sept 20/21/25 but, I can't be there. The employees are all very friendly they welcome you with a smile. Jeff, he's amazing, I appreciate him entering these items. So excited, Sept 20th can't get here soon enough. Auction Update. I was not very happy with the outcome of the auction, very disappointed. Best advise, always put a reserves on your item, if you're expecting a certain price, put a reserve. No reserve if you don't care what it sells for. Otherwise, don't let anyone suggest otherwise or discourage you from putting reserves. Protect your items so there are no regrets later.”

Nostalgia filled my eyes row by row, crying yet laughing at all things my mother, grandmothers, aunts and family friends. Each set up reminded me of home, I don’t think I missed one thing and I don’t think one thing was missing that all had in their homes one time or another.
