I always come to this store since I live nearby. I was shocked on how clean, well stocked and neat the store was. I was used to seeing empty shelves and cluttered isles. It was nice to shop here for once. ?

I don't have names, but the manager noticed I was waiting online with 3 items while the male cashier was working a large grocery cart. He had a second person called, but didn't showed up in the minute himself took care my items while having a vendor waitThanks ?

Dollar general store located in a striping mall off of blue lick road in the silver heights shopping center of Lousiville Kentucky. This a larger scale dollar general that unfortunately attracts a lot of riff raff and sketchily activity. The nearby neighborhood has been hit hard my the drug pandemic and this store brings out the finest of those individuals it seems. The store itself isn't the best upkept. Not the cleanest or most organized and usually not the most helpful workers. I grew up just a few moments from here and my folks and in-laws still do. So sometimes I will come in here on a last second to grab something really quickly. But it's not a place i particularly like to go or shop at. Overall it's a basic dollar general. It ultimately serves its purpose on needing quick and cheap items. They usually have decent and cheap household cleaning supplies. That's probably or main reason for stopping in usually.

Went by this store as I do often to pick up a few things. I needed a few command strips and I noticed these black ones. I grabbed 4 packs along with other items and proceeded to the counter. After I entered the pin to my card I then begin to wonder why my total was $29. After receiving my receipt and notice the strips rang up different, I informed the cashier. A lady who says she is the manager (NO NAMETAG) walked back and looked as there were several more on the rack of $1.85. After standing there while she looked she noticed there were different things in wrong place and then tells me she wasn't the one who put these items up (as if I cared or asked). She then tells me she couldn't override the price for their own mistake although she seen it with her own eyes and i told her to refund me my money. She seemed to not even care although I shop in that store quite often but Never again. I'd rather take that extra 4mins drive to another one.

I shop here quite often but after finding out they accept FedEx drop offs I decided to go in one day and there was a lady at counter. I asked to confirm do they accept the FedEx packages and she says yes they do as long as they have slip already on it. As I proceeded back to my car to get the package she then talked about how the computer didn't work and so on. The 2 stars is only because the younger boy that works there at night is really nice.

The blonde haired assistant manager is extremely rude and hateful. And she reeks of cigarettes. Yuck. The cashiers won’t count your change back to you because they steal some of it. Store is filthy. And it has rats.
