“I would highly recommend Distinctive Carpet and Tile to any of my friends or family. True professionals, they went absolve and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I will definitely be going back for any of my flooring needs.”
“This review is long overdue, but I cannot recommend Flooring Express enough! I called the team on a Thursday earlier this year, desperate for new flooring after a leak in my office. I was back in business with a brand new floor by Tuesday the next week. The installer was professional and incredibly efficient. Flooring Express, thank you so much for your hard work, responsiveness, and quality customer service. It does not go noticed. You guys rock!”
“We were exhausted and dismayed when we first met Shima at Designer Rug Center in Bal Harbour. We had been trying to get a custom rug made by a very big New York rug maker for well over a year. We waited and waited while none of the deadlines were met. Then we waited again through numerous rounds of strike-offs to get the pattern right, but never did. Shima was like a gift from heaven. She knows her business and is very skilled at creating every type of rug. She delivered exactly when she said she would, kept us informed, and we happily received our new rug right on time. I would recommend Designer Rug Center to anyone and everyone.

“My husband and I bought a condominium in Pembroke Pines in December 2024. We bought it because it was the only one available at the time that met our criteria: top floor, corner unit with extra windows and light, lake view, right orientation to permit enjoyment of the outside, and usable outdoor space that had not been enclosed.
We knew we had to do something with the tile floors that were at different unexplainable levels and posed a fracture risk in the event of a fall for my advanced osteoporosis. We educated ourselves to options. We went to look at various flooring businesses. We talked to various people and flooring salesmen, and our last stop was Don Bailey Carpets.
Several salesmen from the various businesses came to the condominium. Some expressed concern as to explanation for the various levels and dips. Some were apprehensive as to what they would find beneath the existing tiles. Some suggested strongly for tile because they were concerned the “unevenness” of the floor would prevent doing luxury vinyl. Others believed luxury vinyl was a mistake and would not be as beautiful or durable as tile. And others after having expressed interest in the work, never submitted an estimate.
Scott at Don Bailey carpets listened to all my reservations. He came out to assess the job. He expressed confidence the work of removing the tiles was doable. He believed whatever we would find his guys would be able to make work to permit the use of luxury vinyl.
Then came the difficult issue for me of selecting the floor. Don Bailey Carpets had the tile manufacturer I had seen in a condominium when we were looking to buy ours, but not in the collection and color I had seen because Scott found out the particular floor had been discontinued. I tried to choose another color from that manufacturer. Scott was infinitely patient with me. He took us to see a floor that had been laid for me to get an idea of how it would feel and look. He gave me samples to take home and on at least one occasion, came by to our condominium to pick them up and answered any questions I might have. I finally made a selection but had doubts as to how some “knots” would look. And he was kind when every time we subsequently came into the showroom I would second guess my decision. He listened. He let me go through the process. He explained the pros and cons, again, and he and my husband would patiently chuckle.
We had to go back to New Mexico and sell our home, and when we returned Don Bailey’s removed the old tiles, and it was a bigger job than anticipated. It was very difficult to remove the old floor. The differing levels were the result of apparently different floors being put down at different times. The living room floor was a bit more than 3/4 inch higher than the master bedroom floor. A ramp had been created to try and meet the two floors. The same was true between the master bedroom floor that was 1/4 inch plus higher that the floor going into the bathroom. And the master closet floor was carpet.
All in all this was a big decision and job. During the process I questioned the wisdom of my decision. When the floor was finally put down, it was stunning. It was a joy to have the entire apartment at the same level without fear of tripping or falling on my face. The result was beautiful and the floor was beyond my expectations, my husband’s expectations, and maybe even Scott’s expectations. Credit to the guys that did an excellent, excellent job. And thanks to Scott who was patient and who facilitated my journey to a correct choice. I cannot say enough about how very pleased I am with my beautiful floor.”

“Professional and extremely helpful. The team came to my home, assessed the situation with 4 binds, determined the cause of the problem and were out within a few minutes. They were clean, quiet and professional. A few days later they came back with everything fixed, swiftly had the blinds installed back up, and were gone in a matter of minutes. So grateful for the professional service.”
“It was a pleasure to work with Walter. He came to our office with samples and let us keep the samples until we were ready to proceed. His installers were great and professional. Every thing was stress free. Thank you Not Just Carpets!”
