I’ve been a Crate and Barrel customer for many years and the last interaction at the Hallandale store has been very concerning. I came in to return a Breville coffee machine in its original packaging, turned on once, within the 30 day return policy period. I was told that they don’t accept returns of machines, and that I have to call the manufacturer for a refund. If thats the case, why is this not mentioned at point of sale or in the return policy? I called the manufacturer right in front of the sales associate to be told that Breville only offers refunds for machines that were purchased directly from Breville. After a 20 minute wait for the manager, she finally arrived without even bothering to say hello, just said “receipt” and put your card in. I got my return but it should’ve been honored without this BS and shadiness. Beware especially when buying machines and electronics from this company. I had a plan to buy other things today but after this experience, I prefer to buy them elsewhere.

Customer beware! This store is one of the worst, if not the worst, in its approach to customer service. Our dresser was in storage for 16 months, and when we opened the container, we discovered it was severely damaged. The container was not damaged, so the dresser was packed broken. After we visited the store, the saleswoman, Peggy Budeig, who had made the sale, promised to speak with the store manager, but didn't. The manager, Dionna Coates, promised to send someone for the assessment and didn't. Salesman Brian was hiding from us and, in the end, refused to talk, hanging up the phone. These people are professional liars. They couldn't care less if you need assistance after you've paid in full. Stay away from this place, by all means!

No one greets you. No one offered help. When I went to checkout the attention was split. Spent $500 on bedding and bad service.

I went to the Hallandale location and was greeted by Dionna. I mentioned to her that my pillow inserts were not what I was expecting and she kindly replaced them with new ones. The transaction went very smooth and she was pleasant to work with. I recommend this store if you’re shopping for high end furniture and accessories.

The store has an incredible layout. Customer service is superb. I went there for a specifics out of Chopsticks and they knew where they were at.

I had originally ordered a set of fixtures for my bathroom. When I went to pick it up from the store they told me that it was delivered but that they couldn’t find it so they would order me another one and deliver it to my house. A bag was delivered to my house, already opened with parts missing. I then had to go back to the store and have them re-order it for a second time. This time it finally came intact but we ended up not liking it. When I tried to return it, Rommy the lady at the register told me that I could only get store credit at this point. If I would have known this I wouldn’t even have bothered going through the trouble of having it reordered. Now I’m being forced to buy something from them even though I don’t want to. She told me there was nothing she or her manager could do.

We tried to purchase 4 dining room chairs from Crate and Barrel and were told that only 1 was available. After looking online we found that there were 3 more available at another warehouse but were having a hard time trying to get them. Thankfully we were able to contact Nick at the Crate and Barrel in Gulfstream, FL. He helped us get all 4 chairs delivered to the store from both warehouses when we were told that it was not possible. Once they did arrive, he went the extra mile by taking them out of the boxes to make sure they were in perfect condition. Finally, helping us load them up perfectly in our SUV.
He is truly a great employee and we will certainly ask for him if we have any other needs from Crate and Barrel. Such a beautiful store and outstanding customer service. Thanks Nick!

“I don’t care!” / “¡No me importa!” That was the rude response from the manager, Gaby, when I explained the reason why I couldn’t come to the store within 30 days after my purchase to exchange or return poor-quality products that don’t work. What a mistake it was to shop at this store—worst customer service ever. Worse quality.
What a nasty manager. OBVIOUSLY from Argentina.

Ordered a $400 tree. Drove to the store to save the $75 shipping fee (50 min drive) with my toddlers. Box didn’t fit in car, they refused to courtesy ship. I told them to keep it. They will never get my business again!! Poor customer service for curated products made in china.
