STAY AWAY from that clinic! We took our pet to DR. ALLISON WARD at NEIGHBORHOOD VETERINARY CENTER (Hallandale) for a regular checkup, vaccine, and microchipping. But just 12 hours later, our 9 months puppy died. The autopsy showed SEVERE UNDERSKIN BLEEDING, NO MICROCHIP was found. Even though we took legal action, we couldn't hold her responsible. Veterinarian field- is the most unpunished, because “one hand washes another”, their insurance pays over their lawyers to get them covered. Please be aware of this doctor, since SHE WORKS AS A RELIEF VET IN MANY OTHER CLINICS.This clinic doesn’t give any post vaccine precautions, and they are not checking microchips in front of their clients. Everything is done in a separate room. Always stay with your pet during any procedures, you are the only one who cares and loves your pet.

Convenient, friendly and professional. I have received great services for my rescue dog, they were quick to answer calls and my questions were addressed with patience and politeness. The veterinarians are also highly knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend.

My neighbor took their dog for a routine check up, shots, and microchipping. Their dog died hours later with autopsy showing severe bleeding under the skin and no microchip was found.Sharing so other pet parents can make informed decisions of where they choose to take their fur babies.

Rotten place, disconnected doctor. Took my kitten Chewie to Neighborhood Vet (Chewie's Primary vet) for a concern of a bladder problem on Friday, his tests came back OK. I know diagnosing an animal can be tricky. 48 hours later, I had to run Chewie to VCA for emergency care on the same issue (as Neighborhood was closed Sunday). VCA said he needs immediate care, perhaps surgery ASAP, but they could not do anything until Wednesday. Early Monday morning I called Neighborhood Vet (again, this is Chewie's primary vet) for emergency care, they could not see him. I understand, it's no notice, they are busy. I got on the phone and found Presidential Vet Center could accept him and could operate if necessary. Hopefully we are avoiding surgery, this is still open. Presidential wrote me a prescription but they did not have it in stock, only 48 hour delivery by mail. I called Neighborhood Vet ahead, it was in stock so I ran over. The receptionist took Chewie's prescription back to the doctor, the prescription was denied by the doctor because "Chewie was not seen here for this". I told the receptionist Chewie was just seen here for this issue exactly, but a doctor elsewhere wrote the prescription because he was released from here, and his condition suddenly got worse while Neighborhood Vet was closed. Receptionist went back to the doctor again, returned and said "it's not in stock". I told her I already called ahead just 10 minutes ago, it's here. She went back to the doctor again, returned and said "sorry, we can't help you". And that's the decision from Chewie's primary vet, deny Chewie medication and send me away. This is Chewie's primary vet?! They are the closest to our home. He got his baby shots here, he got neutered here, and this was the very first time he was sick. Neighborhood Vet withheld the prescription Chewie requires, lied to me about stock, then sent me away without Chewie's medication because Chewie's condition suddenly got worse off-hours. Chewie's health is not the priority at Neighborhood Vet Center. I ended up running to Petco Pembroke Pines hospital (2 hours round trip) to get Chewie's prescription filled today.Petco corporation cares more about a kitten than his primary vet lol. It's time for a new vet. Neighborhood Vet Center is a cold heartless "vet", acting more like an impersonal corporation. This is not my kind of place.Update Saturday: Response back to Neighborhood's response below. Irene does not need to talk with "the staff", they were trying to accomodate Chewie's prescription. Irene can talk doctor on duty mid-day Thursday that stonewalled the staff from releasing Chewie's prescription. Chewie started responding positively today (Saturday) to the prescription I received from Petco on Thursday, thanks for asking about his condition.

Booked my dog Lexi for teeth cleaning and X-rays for back end on December 26 th for February 1 2024. Had her there at 7am was told pickup 4pm called at 10 am to see how she was and was told she was being sedated and was waiting for her turn phoned back at 1pm informed nothing done dog has been there 6 hours no food from the night before was furious with them as we love our dog and this treatment was not acceptable also booked Feb1 as was told by Doctor that it was dental month but when I dropped her off they said there was no dental month there therefore would have booked surgery in December told them I was picking her up right away as I am not dealing with liers very disappointed will never go back then they charged me for blood tests that were not needed as surgery was not going to happen. Your reply is a poor excuse if you would have told us that on Dec 26 we wouldn’t have booked our old dog to stay in a crate for 6 hours without food for 19 hours very poorly done also charged me for blood tests that I didn’t need as you surgery would never happen with your clinic.

This place is amazing! It's so great that they let you stay with your pet during the whole stressful experience. My dog needed surgery and Dr. Coleman was so helpful during our overnight stay communicating all information and checking in consistently. He was so pleasant even afterwards too when I called the next day with more questions. Everyone is so kind here and they really care! Chelsea, Jennifer and Sarah were awesome as well!

Seems like a sign of the great decline in this generations work ethic, but let’s try opening up on time. 7am opening means someone has arrived before that, set up the place, and the business is ready to go at 7. Not, the workers come driving in at 7, then make you stand outside for 10 minutes to get everything going, then offer no apology. Strange.

my sphynx, who i rescued when he was 2 years old, had an enlarged heart condition and i never knew about it until the week he died. why? because of the incompetence of these veterinarians. i’m a vet tech, and i knew something was wrong with my cat for MONTHS hes was coughing, lethargic, wheezing, etc. and the veterinarians always said “His heart and lungs sound perfect!” and never listened to me when i asked about a possible heartworm, respiratory disease, heart disease or whatever. i was always just dismissed and laughed off and they would tell me “oh he’s probably just reacting to essential oils or candles in your house.” I DONT HAVE ANY OF THOSE THINGS? but they never took me seriously! then while my cat was literally in the most obvious pain, they still said he was fine but i insisted on getting x-rays (even as the veterinarian scoffed and told me it was useless.) made me pay $300 and sent me on my way. then as im driving back home they call me in a panic and tell me his heart is abnormal and i need to pay an extra $60 for an instant consultation with a radiologist. I have worked with over 15 veterinarians in my career and I’ve never seen such unprofessional behavior and treatment of a client. But i’ll say thank you to this clinic, you’ve made me realize i’m a better veterinary nurse than i thought because i knew something was terribly wrong before your veterinarians even cared to actually catch it. by the way, when my cat passed away and i informed their office, they didn’t give two sh*ts to even send a letter.
