No new gloves for vaccine administration?! Opinion that a pharmacist should put on new gloves before doing vaccination (saw him doing work immediately before coming to vaccine area and then did a quick pump of hand sanitizer on used gloves).

Went to receive my Covid booster at scheduled time at another location but they ran out and told me to go to Heathrow location that they would have the booster there. Asked if I needed to schedule new appointment and was told no problem. Drove right over, stood in line and listened as pharmacist told lady ahead of me he would be out to give her the booster in 5 minutes. I stepped up to counter, smiled and showed my phone which had my scheduled appointment at other store. Explained they sent me here because they didn't have any more boosters, and that is when Sarin, I think his name was told me they have no time to give me a booster. I said I heard you tell the lady you would give her the booster in 5 minutes so I said I will sit right next to her and you can give me mine. Then the rudest Pharmacy Manager appeared, told me his name is Jackson and he has been with the company 42 years. Told me in no uncertain terms that I will not be getting a booster from them and to get out of the store. I am a 62 year old professional and have never been treated so poorly by anyone especially when my request was so simple given that I was sent there from another one of their stores and they were giving a booster to another person anyway. This is not the type of person to manage a pharmacy given his use of profane language and threats that I needed to leave or he would remove me if I didn't leave. All I wanted was a reason why I couldn't get my booster if they were giving it to someone else

Jackson is a great pharmacist - he is very caring and always takes the time to speak with me, even if he is busy.

CVS is CVS - they offer a clean pleasant store, and have all these dollar-off on the reward dollars program if you're their member. I gave them the wrong credit card (definitely my fault), but reversing the sale was more difficult than I could ever have imagined in this day and age. Useful tip here - if you get a reward $, your best chance is to quickly turn around and use it. Otherwise, industry figures show (incredibly) that the breakage rate ($ NOT redeemed) is greater than 50%. Don't say you weren't warned!
