I am not a complainer but the reason for my review is to let the public know about the possible scam at this store. I purchased a battery 7 days ago and came back to return it brand new, sealed. The store manager( Jose Daniel) told me it wasn’t possible and all I have is a 4 years warranty. I called Auto Zone customer service and they told me they have a 90 days return policy for the batteries. Apparently some employees in this store has being doing the same to other customers base on some reviews I have being reading now. Auto Zone should do something to address this recurring issue in this store.

Store at 8760 NW 122nd St, Hialeah, FL 33018
The worst service and lack of respect. Mr. Jacinto Santiago is not only incompetent in terms of customer service, he also violates the franchise's return policy, which states that returns are accepted when the merchandise is in the original packaging, within 90 days and with presentation of the receipt.
I had to read him the return policy so that he reluctantly agreed to make the return. At the same time, after the staff had informed me that they had the correct item in the store, he simply told me that they DID NOT HAVE IT. Just to be mean.
I had to go to another nearby Autozone in Hialeah (1237 W 68th St, Hialeah, FL 33014), where I was treated with professionalism, kindness and decency, even though my first question when I entered the store was about the return policy.
I don't understand how Autozone can afford to allow Mr. Jacinto Santiago to mistreat customers in this way.
I shared this experience with family and friends, not knowing that they had also had the opportunity to experience Mr. Santiago's mistreatment.

They have an advertisement outside where it says that if you have the check engine light on they can help you. IT IS A LIE, THEY ALWAYS SAY THAT THE MACHINE IS DAMAGED.

Unfortunately I can't give more than one star, today I went to have my car battery checked, one of the store assistants helped me and when I was going to buy a new battery he told me that I couldn't because they had to attend to a harrow that I was still parking and I don't understand why I had arrived first and they said they had to unload the merchandise from the harrow first. Really very disappointed with this store because I have visited others and the treatment has been excellent.

I don't understand how autozone is a single company because in the unit on 87 and 122 in Hialeah they have a different policy than the others that with a receipt and the unused purchase they say that returns are not accepted a bad job they are providing the customer me I explain a different policy to the other units of the same company Autozon

Nobody, not even the manager, speaks English. They add products you did not buy such as dielectric grease. Why am I paying for that? I am not even asked whether I want to buy an extra product. Then you have to wait for someone to pay attention to get a refund. Unprofessional.

Compra le un cinto a Jacinto. Jacinto has zero customer service skills paired with a smug attitude. Horrible customer service. Will never shop at another autozone again. He had no intention of helping me and was extremely rude. Had to go to another autozone where they accepted my return with no drama or issue. Guy has no sense of urgency. Bad management.
Go to any other auto supply store other than AutoZone!

Every year this place keeps getting slower and slower. You can come in the store and have one person in front of you and expect to wait a least 20 min in line .
