Terrible Experience at Bank of America - Strongly Advising Against Their Services I am writing this review to share the truly appalling experience my mother had with Bank of America. I recommended her to open an account with them, and what followed was an absolute nightmare. Initially, a bank representative seemed helpful, but things took a terrible turn. The representative demanded $1500 to avoid a supposed monthly fee of $12, and my mother paid $1500 to her. Later, she was asked for an additional $200 to open the account, which she also gave. Shockingly, my mother left with only $200 in her account and no knowledge that she had been scammed by a Bank of America employee. When I called the bank manager to address the situation, she dismissed it, claiming that it had been over 30 days since the incident. Seeking justice, I reached out to Bank of America corporate and was assigned an investigator. However, this investigator's response time was abysmal, taking over 10 day's to reply and often not even answering the phone. Her repeated questions were futile, leading to the case's eventual closure due to "insufficient evidence." It's mind-boggling how the Bank of America team can be so incredibly incompetent and dismissive when one of their customers falls victim to their own employees' scams. I am beyond disappointed and furious with their handling of this situation. This experience has left me with no choice but to never set foot inside a Bank of America branch again. I will make it my mission to spread the word about this incident and advise everyone I know to steer clear of this institution. Consider this review a warning - if you value your hard-earned money and your sanity, do not entrust Bank of America with your financial matters.
