I saw several negative reviews but fortunately I was very lucky. I went to fix a taillight and a mature gentleman offered assistance. He not only checked but also showed me the problem. A short circuit was causing for the taillight going off very often. He fixed it and the price was very reasonable. I left very ?.

I took my car here to replace the timing belt (the entire kit with water pump and tensioners) The Factory recommended that it should be replaced every 90,000 miles. So when I reached 90,000, they replaced it and did a good job with the labor. However, I later learned (when IT BROKE, and caused serious engine damage) that he installed a cheap timing belt kit made by a company called DNJ(I think that they are Chinese) . The belt broke at around 124,000 miles, which means that it lasted NOT 90,000, but only 34,000 miles! After taking the car to a second mechanic (getting it towed at my expense) I was able to CONFIRM his diagnosis that the engine needed a valve job. and was able to physically see the actual DNJ Chinese belt that A&J had installed. I performed a Google search for DNJ timing belts (and you should do the same) and found a whole bunch of consumer complaints!! A&J General Auto Repair NEVER asked if I wanted a brand name kit (Good Year, Gates, or Genuine factory part from dealer for example) A&J simply installed the cheapest kit they could find, like if I was not interested in keeping the car very long.

This person doesn't know what they're doing. I have taken my car twice to him and the car still pertains with the problem and he keeps insisting it's something else. Stay the hell away from this place!!!! Save yourself the money and time.
