I was just penalized by Citibank for depositing a counterfeit cashier check from PCN bank through the mobile application for a couch I sold online. Not only did the representatives on the phone tell me that it would not affect my account but they also told me for a week and a half that my account would not be affect either if the cashiers check bounced or went through. They decided that they would close my account send me a check in 4 weeks and that I could never open another account with them. I don't understand how they would treat a victim of fraud like that. This bank is just another corporation looking for their bottom line. Even though they claim your protected from fraud by them. Not even to my worse scene my would I recommend Citibank at this point. And I want everyone to k ow that they Falsely claim to protect you from fraud. If you get scammed they will abandon you and ignore it. They haven't even attempted to look into who the person who sent me the check is. I provided a phone number, the address on the fed ex envelope the check was sent in and the name I was given by the person attempting to buy the couch. I have text messages as proof, but they disregarded that too. And they told me that filing a police report would be pointless.

Best bank ever, I have used this citibank branch for over 10 years, they are always there to help when you need it!

I have always used Bank of America. But, lately they have been lacking in service in store and on the phone. So i decided it was time to get a new bank. After much online research and consideration. I decided on Citibank, I came to this location to open my account. Now i realize I could have done it online, but that would not tell me how the service at the bank itself is. The lady that helped me open my account was so nice and helpful with everything. She answered all of my questions about the accounts they offer. She in detail explained to me the best and easiest ways to avoid the monthly fee of only 10 dollars. I have stopped into many other branches aside from this one and everyone is so nice to me. I calling the customer service is a pleasure not like with Bank of America. I call and the hold is so much shorter. I am very satisfied with this choice in bank so far. Also they have ATMs in so many places, Publix, gas stations and malls. Very convenient!
