I went to see my unit at extra space storage and I had a great experience the person who assisted me her name is Teresa she was awesome I received excellent customer service she was very kind explained me everything about my unit
I really recommend her ! I’m very satisfied with her service.

Signed into an agreement 03/29/2025 for $90 rate on what the contract advised would have been a unit of $143. Now 07/29/2025 the rate has doubled and they are trying to charge $202. Customer service is difficult to get in contact with. They advised all notices have to be sent via mail but I requested electronic correspondence since I do not live in FL and my husband is active duty military. USPS did not deliver any notice and the chat representative confirmed there is no tracking to confirm this information. I’m currently seeking a new storage unit provider that won’t bait and switch prices after only 3 months of having the unit. I’ve also sent a complaint to the BBB to assist. If you are out of state and needing a storage unit beware Extra Space Storage.
