Fresco y Más is a well-stocked and generally clean supermarket, noted for being cleaner than other locations. It has the smell of fresh bread and a Cuban Cafe in the rear. The store is kept up nicely and has security always present. Amenities include a public bathroom, which is clean and open, and self-checkout is available. However, long lines often form because there are not enough cashiers, and the payment registers are often not enabled at the start of each morning. While the products are mostly fresh and there are always good sales, some note that the fruits and vegetables could be fresher. Customer service can be disappointing, with staff sometimes seeming disinterested or impatient, contributing to a frustrating checkout experience. Despite this, many find it their favorite store with everything they need.
This store is tucked away in the Flamingo Plaza in Hialeah. Great parking lot with plenty of handicap parking spaces. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well organized and well lit the interior of the store appeared. Beautiful assortment of fresh produce and meats!
