This place has horrible customer service, the manager has an ego and treats people like garbage, hardly speaks English. Take your business to enterprise which are located less than 1 minute south away from them and they treat you nice and help you with everything unlike Uhal.

Make sure when dropping off a key overnight, that you video tape yourself doing so like I did. I called this morning to make sure my drop off last night was ok, and Jordan, kept insisting that I did not, that the box was empty. I got a call back and the same thing, no air you didn’t drop off the key. So, I went to the store, and showed a nice video of me dropping off the key, which clearly you could hear the key dropping to the bottom. When I showed the video, they were shocked, and magically the key appeared and I was told it was stock on the top edge, GIVE ME A BREAK!!! I reported the issue to corporate, and asked me for the video. I wonder if they were short the month of April, and needed a key lost fee to make the goal???? Just curious how many other customers have gotten scammed this way at this location!

I got charged for three extra days that I didnt use the truck. I dropped off the truck the same day only 4 hours after renting it to a U-Haul employee that was at the door and asked "are you returning the truck?" and I said "yes im turning it back in" and the employee told me to just leave the keys inside the truck and they will check it back in for me. 3 days later I get a notification from my credit card company saying I got an additional charge on my credit card from U-Haul and an email from U-Haul saying that I turned the truck back in 3 days after I actually turned it in. Not happy at all.

Hialeah and clewiston locations, good customer service and good people. But I'm very disappointed with u haul corporations my brother rented same enclosed trailer, same day in Cape Coral FL and he paid $130 for the day, and I paid here in Hialeah $240 dollars. Not acceptable.,

It's the worst place and the worst service there in Hialeah. I don't know how they have those people working with the public. I don't recommend that place to anyone. It's garbage. The worst thing there is. They treat you like you were a dog. That doesn't work and the attention is rubbish at its worst.

Do NOT use this U-Haul location. General Manager Andres M. is as useless as the hyphen between 'U' and 'Haul.' Even in 2024, the warnings about this location's extortionist practices are valid. Just read past reviews. They will arbitrarily charge you extra fees. After reporting him to corporate, he sent an official letter to increase my storage fee. ¡Basura! Stay away! ¡No lo hagas! Continue to report him to corporate; it’s the only way they will get back to you. They don’t answer their phones.
