Intial measurements for an enclosed porch were done wrong. Didn’t include an opening for the deadbolt on the security door, only for the door knob and then said that he should have asked whether it was needed - but never did. Installation wasn’t done according to the plans on the permit so the city didn’t approve it. Took weeks of calling and emailing to get him to respond to this. Eventually came back and changed some of the connectors. Inspector said this was still not done according to the permit but approved it so I wouldn’t end up having to pay for an extention on the permit since so much time had gone by. Two months after installation, most of the white-painted steel bars used to enclose my porch are already showing rust. My suspicion is that the metal was already rusty before it was painted. Stay away from this company.

We used Westside Iron recently for some powder coated aluminum handrail on a house in Miami Springs, that needed to match adjacent decorative wrought iron railing. Maria was prompt to respond, and had good suggestions when she came out for a site visit. The project was completed with a quick turnaround and the fabrication and installation guys did quality work. You get good bang for your buck with Westside Iron.
