I was donating very nice household items this morning, only to be greeted very hostile. He continued to tell me that most of my stuff would just be thrown away, and they had to pay to haul it to the bump. In other words stop using them as my dumping ground. I tried to be pleasant, by when he opened my side of the car door and then proceed to slam it in my face. I informed him he needed to go pray for forgiveness from God. I'll never donate or buy anything from them again. In Jesus name,Mary Settle.

The Hope International Missions Thrift Store is located on the Hobe Sound Bible College Campus. It is also called the FEA Thrift Store. Hope International Missions (HIM),is a division of FEA Ministries Inc which is a ministry that was founded in 1961. Profits from sales from the store go to support world wide missions. The thrift store has parking out front and it is in a separate building on the campus. They have a lot of stuff for sale including clothes, accessories, toys, books, some furniture, and home goods. They had some really cute and inexpensive Easter decorations. I found prices to be very reasonable. What was unique was they had some antiques mixed in with the thrift items. Everything was clearly labeled with price and if it was an antique there was some information about that too. Sitting on the counter was a large doll from the 1950's with a sign that she needed to go to a a doll hospital but honestly, she really creeped me out. They had a lot of other stuff that I did like though including 33 pieces of English Garden China for only $15. My parents wedding china was in that pattern and seeing it brought back so many memories of years of holiday meals. Come take a peek because you never know what you will find.
