“Absolutely loved the location. Office is located on a cute, quaint street in Hobe Sound. The staff were so nice and Dr. Zercher could not have been more caring and thorough. What I loved was the conservative treatment of my dog and nobody tried to upsell me on any unnecessary drugs or pills or supplements for my dog. Just really honest and kind group of people.”
“Our aging Chihuahua had a raging skin infection. The Vet we had before we changed to Stuart Sound never took a culture or a new blood test.
Dr Pike did all that. Found out she has a raging bacterial infection non resistant to meds we were given and my dog needed a different topical cream from the one prescribed before!
Jami, her vet tech, lovingly snd gently gave her a medicated bath. She took the time to clean up the debris that had hardened on my dog’s skin.
The blood test showed that my dog has a high liver enzyme count solving the problem of why she’s drinking so much. Shes now on a liver supplement.
We have a new home for our furkid.”

“Wonderful and caring staff from beginning of our visit up until pickup. The communication with me about my dogs condition was so easy for me to understand. The nurse even came out with a diagram of the heart and circled the areas. I really had a great science lesson. The doctor was extremely personable as well and was happy to share the wonderful news with me that Shayla’s degenerative heart condition did not progress and is still mild. I would commute 2 hours to go to this Cardo Care Center as I felt so comfortable that my girl was in great hands.”

“I unfortunately came to visit under the worst case scenario and after a few visits, had to put my cat Minnie to sleep. Dr. Stathakis and every single person in this office were so so so incredibly kind, caring and empathetic to the situation and took such good care of Minnie throughout the whole process. These kind people know you are losing a family member and treat it as such. Whenever I called with a problem, they got us in right away. Dr. Stathakis explained her diagnosis and the process in great detail and was sympathetic and supportive. She is a great Dr. and I am so glad I found her and this office. You guys are truly wonderful at what you do and I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you.”

Immediately put my mind at ease. This woman deserves awards!! After having a negative experience with BluePearl, this is the only veterinary neurologist I recommend. It is so worth the drive (2.5 hours for us). If you are on the fence, don’t be! From the moment you call and make the appointment, your pet will be in the best hands :-)”

“It’s taking me a few months to write this review, but I really felt it was necessary to do this. Sadly, I recently lost my six teen year-old Maltese. I could not have had a better experience than I had at Surfside. I purposely left my other vet when I knew my dog would not be with me forever because I wanted to have someone who truly cared and was kind to be with me when the time came. While sadly, the time came in June. Dr. Abadia and technician Stacey especially we’re so very very kind and patient with me. I had never experienced a pet passing before and they made the experience so humane and as positive as it possibly could be. I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for taking such great and kind care of Toby and I. You guys helped me so much during a difficult time. Also, id like to say to anyone looking for a vet that I would highly recommend going to see Dr. Abadia . Thank you . Lisa C”

“I boarded my cat there for about nine days and they took very good care of her. She's 12 years old and I've never been able to get her to eat wet food and they did. I could tell that she was happy and healthy and that's what I care about. They're very sweet over there.”
“All the staff at Village Vet are the best! The front desk and vet techs are so attentive and loving to my pups. My 13 year old boy had been having hip issues the last year, slipping, not being able to walk on tiled floors, restlessness, not wagging his tail, moaning and he started growling at me (which is NOT his typical behavior). He has always been a very active, sweet happy boy, something was wrong. Dr. Burgess checked him out, and recommended laser therapy. I was very skeptical of how “magic lights” could heal my dog, but omg it worked!! We did 6 treatments and he is back to his old self! Someone asked if he was 5 years old today, because of how spunky and friendly he is! Thank you Village Vet from bringing life back to my sweet 13 year old boy! I couldn’t be more happy with the experience!”
