Horrible experience. Pod company gave incorrect information, took money out of my card used once for payment, which was never authorized for a second time, charged me for a whole month when pod was back to the company 3 weeks early. Pod was never delivered to the home it was supposed to be delivered to, and still charged me all sorts of charges and the moving charge. Horrible horrible experience, I do not recommend it. Customer service could not resolve my issue and code enforcement tried to fine us for having a pod for over 30 days. I ended up paying for three months at the first delivery home, charged for a move which never happened, charged service charges to pick it up and move it but it was never moved, ended up taking everything out of the pod and renting a Uhaul. So unsatisfied. Making a BBB report out on them. I want a refund for the services never rendered.

PODS did not follow thru on their contract where it stated you only needed to give them a 3 day notice to deliver the unit. When we called to schedule delivery (we had 4 PODS) 3days in advance as stated in the contract, we were told they were booked. This delay caused us to rent our Air BnB for another week at our unexpected expense. We were unable to secure help unloading because the delivery timeframe was too wide. We ended up filing an official complaint which we were told will be resolved. We have heard nothing. Every time we called for help we were directed to a call center and many times had an individual who was next to impossible to understand. Our previous experience with PODS (13 years ago) was great, but not this time. PODS needs to go a long way to raise their rating with us.

Once I got used to there communication system--I found them to be very helpful, detailed, and responsive to all of my questions and concerns. And being able to change things through my account online or via phone is just the way I like it!!!

DO NOT ? USE !! If you could leave a zero rating I would ! From initial phone call where they demand credit card info before any quote is given . That was red flag enough but I wanted quote so I did it , Then I find out for an 8 HOUR MOVE IT TAKES 8 DAYS OR MORE TO GET POD TO YOUR LOCATION!!! I check FACEBOOK - FOUND A WHOLE GROUP DEDICATED TO PEOPLE WHO WERE PODS VICTIMS !!! Contacted PODS to cancel my reservation which they wanted $4,000 to move 8 HOURS away , And asked for a Supervisor because the REP had no clue what she was doing , 10 TIMES AND 45 MINS LATER STILL COULD NOT SPEAK TO ANYONE BE A USELESS REP . SHE CANCELLED AND I CONTACTED MY BANK TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT AND OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT AND EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM !! LADY AT THE BANK SAYS IM NOT THE FIRST PERSON THAT CLOSED THEIR ACCOUNT DUE TO PODS !! BE WARNED !

It was a very stressful time in my life and the ease of PODS services made it simple to store my belongings while I decided my next step. It was delivered at my convenience and I paid for movers to load it at my convenience then I scheduled pick up and they stored it for me until I was ready to Unload. It was delivered to my new place with ease and picked up after my movers emptied it. Very affordable and easy. Thanks PODS.

Although the Pods service in the Tampa Bay area of Florida was acceptable, the phone contacts and service in Ft. Wayne, Indiana area was subpar. Hung up on several times when associate couldn't figure out what to do. Driver was rude, refused to help assist opening the door, scratched driveway, drove the wrong way down our one-way street backwards at 10:30 PM waking neighbors as the truck beeped, clipped our tree 8 times and left the branches in the road (it's a small tree-he had difficulty maneuvering podzilla), and didn't come on the day requested. Never came at the requested time. Would never use these people again.

Totally surprised by how easy it was to set up all the steps of the move. Move many item from my parents estate that were in a storage unit in florida to a relatives home in Virginia. All the PODS personnel I spoke with were helpful and friendly including the drivers. The whole move happened on schedule without any issues. I will use PODS again.

Used PODS for a long distance move. PA to FL. Horrible customer service. Very responsive and very evasive. Had multiple reschedules, very late with our POD, no answers from the company. Have two children, an infant and 2 year old, could not get a response from a supervisor nor get any answers where our POD is. Will never use this company again.

Unfortunately our items were damaged in transport. We spent extra time and money on items to secure our belongings. It is expensive, and now have to replace many pieces of furniture. I would not recommend unless you are transporting to a very close destination or just using it for storage. I was very disappointed in the experience and out so much money.

Very poor customer service when trying to find out why our POD re-delivery was hours late with no contact from PODS. Stayed on hold for over an hour before ever speaking to a real person. Finally somebody answered and we were told that there was nothing that could be done to figure out what was going on, because our storage location wasn't answering their calls. Eventually got a call from the driver (3+ hours after latest time listed on delivery window), who ended up also being just generally unfriendly. After re-delivery, the door latch was jammed and had to be muscled into both opening and closing (even when the POD was empty). As long as you never have to contact PODS after your initial order, you should be good to go.

Horrible!!! I had a scheduled date and after being on hold for 1.5 hrs I was told the storage center moved my arrival date by 2 days. Mind u this is without a phone call, email, or text. Customer service couldn’t put a manager on the phone.never use them
