I shopped here today after getting an email from my Upside app stating that Save A Lot is now here to save money 💰 at 3 locations. This one on US 19 is the closest and had the best cashback offer of 15%. So, the eggs here at $4.49 a dozen with the cashback are a better deal than Aldi's.

This save a lot is always clean and the employees are nice. I stopped coming to save a lot because of their products, I decided to give them another chance today and was disappointed yet again. I bought a bag of potatoes when I got home more then half the bag was moldy (you could not see this through the bag) was going to buy some frozen chicken breast and every bag the chicken was freezer burned and had ice around it. Almost all the bags of potatoes, if you felt the potatoes were soft. This is sad, people go here to make their dollar stretch and just because someone doesn’t have a lot of money and have to shop here to be able to afford to feed their family they should not have to be stuck buying food that is no good. This is all the time at save a lot, the owners should be ashamed to sell food that people can’t eat. Not everyone has the gas money or time to run rotten food back to the grocers.

They need to change their name to you save nothing anymore. And the fact that they are trying to get the same amount for their knock off brands that they do from name brands. That is a joke. At least they're not trying to post self check outs.
