Misleading Promotion and Ongoing Lack of Accountability
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Verizon and feel compelled to share what has happened in hopes of helping others avoid the same situation.
In December 2023, I was offered a promotion in-store: if I added a new line to my business account, I would receive a free iPad and Apple Watch. Trusting the representative, I accepted. A month later, I was shocked to find charges for both devices on my bill. When I returned to the store, I was told the promotion was offered by mistake and only applied to personal accounts—but I was assured the issue would be escalated, fixed, and the charges reversed.
That never happened.
Over the next year and a half, I followed up countless times—in-store, by phone, with managers. I was given excuse after excuse: paperwork delays, health emergencies, and management changes. Even after a case was opened with Verizon Business support (Case #SC9412737), I was told by customer service representative the only option he have for me is to return the devices or go to the store again because only they are able to do anything. That’s not acceptable—I agreed to this under a Verizon-promoted offer, made in good faith, by your employee.
To this day, I’m still being charged, have wasted hours of time, and have received zero resolution or accountability. It’s frustrating, costly, and unprofessional.
Verizon, you can and must do better. I’m now considering filing complaints with the BBB, consumer inquiries and complaints center, and exploring legal action.

Re-posting since they took down my first post - which was a valid and honest experience that I had at this store. I had upgraded my phone and chose to pick my new phone up at this location. I was notified that the phone was available to be picked up yesterday, but I was out of town. I showed up first thing today to learn that Jerry, an employee at the store, had sold my phone to another customer. They were then sold out of the phone I specifically ordered to be picked up at this store and the best they could do was tell me to cancel my order and re-order a new phone. I cannot express how frustrating this experience has been. It specifically says on the Verizon email notifying me that my phone was ready that they needed to hold the phone until the end of the day. I arrived first thing the next day to pick it up, there is no reason it should have been sold yesterday.

The lady in the store on June 30th on Sunday around 4 was awesome, I didn't have my password, but she figured it out, great experience.

Stevie was incredibly patient and helpful while she assisted us in troubleshooting our new phones and getting them set up correctly. The process took a long time (due to several issues with the phones that were entirely out of her control) and she was really sweet and cheerful for the duration. Will absolutely come here again if we need help. Thank you!!
