“Needed a new vet. Very happy I chose West Park. Spent a lot of time researching. This was one of two vets that were very responsive to my questions. At the appointment, the vet tech and then the vet herself spent a lot of time with my dog trying to make her less nervous. There’s no exam table so the vet and the tech get right down on the floor to interact with the dog and give a lot of affection while poking and prodding. Exam, heart worm and fecal tests, and vaccinations requires for boarding came in around $260 which I thought was very reasonable based on other vet visits and my research this year to find a new vet.”

“I brought my toy poodle to get her teeth checked and she needed it clean. They took her in within 2 weeks. She was bad shape and started to show signs that her teeth was effectively causing harm to her health. Been 7 days and she herself again. I love the staff and have a positive feeling when I walked in. My little girl wasn’t nervous and did very good with her! I am glad Saint Francis is now her vet!! I know everything going up of cost, it’s good to know she will be healthy to live long life and happy. Happy dog, happy Me!!!”

“I can’t speak highly enough about my experience today. My cat Lily is 10, almost 11 years old and doesn’t have a good track record with the vet. Today was my first time at Hughes animal clinic and I don’t think I will take my cat anywhere else again. The whole staff deeply cares about animals and the doctor was sharing how this is a fear free clinic and he has literally taken classes to help learn this method so the animals aren’t scared. My cats last trip to our prior vet, she was terrified. She had peed all over herself. She was hissing, biting, and scratching, and our prior vet just didn’t really seem to care that she was so uncomfortable and scared and was being a bit rough with her. I had given her some gabapentin before coming in today due to Dr. Hughes recommendation. Lily was so good with how she handled everything and the staff knew she didn’t handle the vet good in the past so, they gave her a warm towel with cat pheromones to keep her calm. While we were waiting to pay and she was back in her carrier, they put some cotton balls soaked in the pheromones in her carrier so she wasn’t uncomfortable at any point. I feel so relieved to know I finally found somewhere that cares deeply about the animals that come in!! Lily and I couldn’t be more grateful!❤️”

“My Cinnamon is an anxious ball of anxiety in a pitbull body. The staff here is amazing with my baby. I have called last minute because my daughter was in the hospital and I needed boarding and it was never a question. The vet tech made sure he had a pocket full of the treats Cinnie likes best to help calm her. When Cinnie was attacked my another dog, they fit her in ASAP to be looked over. She was in pain and growling, and the staff never flinched. They just kept telling her she was a good girl and cleaning her up. I won't bring my animals anywhere else.”
