“I adopted an older dog from Pasco Animal Services. I didn’t have much information about what she’s been through. I did notice that she can be a bit growly/nippy in some situations such as trying to get a sand spur out of her paw or trying to put a swab in her mouth. I gave the limited information that I knew of to the staff during her first wellness visit today. Dr. Salton, Chris, and another staff member (I apologize for not getting her name) were so patient and kind to my little grouch.❤️ They took a lot of time with her, petting her and telling her what a good girl she was while gently performing the exam. She also got lots of treats throughout the whole process! She relaxed so much that when I was busy with the bill and paperwork she laid down and took a short nap in the exam room. The findings and recommendations were explained to me in detail and my questions were answered. The entire experience was very professional, competent and showed a high level of care and compassion for both myself and Sapphire.”

“I haven’t had a pet in 4 years. A beautiful stray cat turned up at my house a few weeks ago, and she stole our hearts! VCA was the closet vet. Took her there to find out that she was not fixed or micro chipped, we had already reached out through social media and every site we could think of to find her owner, to no avail. Dr. Wendt Was so kind, examined her to find out that she seemed to be in very good health. They did not charge us for the office visit!! She is now officially ours, and we are so happy that we chose VCA, our neighborhood vet, who is now OUR vet. From the doctor to staff, they’re all very kind, friendly and compassionate.”
