It was truly an honor and a privilege to attend the funeral service on July 18, 2024, for Barbara Jean Williams.
The Anthony R. Manuel Funeral Home helped provide an amazing tribute to Barbara. The attention to detail reflected how much our friend and colleague was loved and respected.
The entire staff was not only professional but treated each guest with warmth and caring.

On behalf of the family of the late Rev. Dr. Douglas Cook, Sr., I would like to take this opportunity to express the family’s sincerely appreciation of the impeccable memorial and homegoing celebration service provided by the Anthony Manuel Funeral Home. Their presentation and services definitely exceeded well beyond the expectations of what we could ever have imagined.
Rev. Dr. Douglas Cook, Sr. was 96 years old and served as Pastor of the Jordan Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Miami, Florida for 56 years. He was a pillar in the community and was well known in the city of Miami, the state of Florida and throughout this country.
Our family wanted the best for our dearly departed. The Anthony Manuel Funeral Home stepped up to the plate and provided their very best. In fact, they provided top-notch, over-the-top service!!! From our initial visit of preparation to the final committal. The representatives showed so much care and concern as they listened to the family’s needs, vision and expectations. They were very attentive and detailed oriented.
My late father-in-law was a very sick man. We were astonished when we initially viewed his body. He looked SO BEAUTIFUL!!! His body was well-prepared. His face looked so peaceful. In fact, he appeared to be resting. Their final preparation of his body, brought us peace and comfort during our time of bereavement.
It is apparent that the Anthony Manuel Funeral Home care about their clients and is respectful of the dearly departed.
The Anthony Manuel Funeral Home deserves more than five stars in this review because the service provided to our family was ELITE!!!!
The family has received so many compliments but we can’t take the credit. We’re thankful that the Lord placed in the heart of the late Rev. Dr. Douglas Cook, Sr. prior to his demise to have his remains entrusted to the Anthony Manuel Funeral Home.
If and when the Lord calls another loved one home, without a shadow of a doubt, we’re heading straight to Anthony Manuel Funeral Home.
In closing, my family and I appreciate the hospitality of all the representatives of this funeral home for their care and love that was shown to us.
To the Anthony R. Manuel Funeral Home, JOB WELL DONE!!! You hit the MARK and set such a high standard for excellent service.

I am very thankful for Mr. Manuel and everyone in the office. He assisted us with every thing our family needed at this very painful time in our life. The whole staff was very understanding and took their time with us and listened to all our requests regarding our loved one. My sister looked amazing I paid attention to detail and they even had her eyelashes on point. 😘 I have nothing negative to say about the service's we received from everyone at his location. Thank you for everything you did for our family. My sister looked beautiful like she was sleeping. You guys did amazing. All I could do was praise God! 🙌 I want to thank the whole staff for such a fast amazing turn around. May God bless you all!

My aunts viewing was supposed to be at 11:00 AM US EST. It is now 2:15pm US EST and my aunt has still not arrived her to be viewed. The funeral home is saying she is in route, which she has been in route since 11:00 am. My aunt isn't a UPS package, she is a wife, mother and sister and this funeral home refuses to tell us where she is and not one person has apologized or said one kind word to the family. To add insult to injury they started to ignore my cousin's phone calls, my aunts daughter so much she had to call from a number with a different area code to get them to answer. The amount of unprofessionalism is staggering. So if you don't care where your family member ends up then this is the right place for you.

AJ Manuel Funeral Home really takes care of families during this difficult time. He and his staff are always professional, and does a magnificent job from the beginning to the end. He has buried my stepbrother, both my husbands grandparents and just this week my younger brothers dad my step dad. I recommended him to my brother and I am glad I did. Thank you once again Mr. Manuel, Pam, and your entire staff. Your business is truly a Pillar in our community and surrounding areas.

The two Gentlemen that came to pick up my moms body from Hospice was very professional, had a caring nature, and was very patient with my family as we said our goodbyes. The lady Pam (may have her name wrong) that handles the business side I really Have mixed feelings about. We went to meet with her to make sure everything was in order. I spoken to her previously on the phone and provided her with all the information she asked for. She confirmed the information at the table however she submitted for the death certificate and fail to provide my mother'sSSN. My dad is now having problems getting a few things in order because of no SSN on it. When my dad presented the issue back to her she told him he had to pay for them to resubmit it/correct it because she was never provided the SSN and someone was suppose to get back to her. I Personally provided it to her and she read it to us at the meeting. In the meeting when family members asked questions about services, she made comments about not being paid yet. We went there with full payment and was prepared to pay. Because my mom was not yet cremated and they didn't know how long before she was cleared, I thought she was waiting for the clearance. Everything summed up communication was not the best and they would not be my first choice. I recieved amazing services from other funeral home in the past (from beginning to end) and would probably go with one of them. That was the only issue that kept me from giving 5 stars.

AJ is the best when it comes to taking care of you in the time of need.They was here for us so any time.When we didn't have enough money for our nephew when he pass they help us out with everything that was needed.They went beyond what was expected of them Thank God for people who Care so much about others
