I am visiting my family in Florida and went to this store just now to accompany my sister who wanted to buy gym goods. They have what it looks like selfCheck out cashier's. There are 3 machines. The cashier was talking to an employee and wasn't calling anyone on the line. There was another employee helping a customer on what it looks like a self check out. The person in front of us self check out her purchase but when we move forward the employee who identified herself as Blue Winter yelled at us saying hey ladies this is not a self check out you have to wait. We apologize and went back to the line. Then she call us and as my sister is paying for her purchase she holds the bag that the items on my face with her arm extended I wat paying too much attention but I thought she meant for me to grab it. So I did. I didn't yank it. Well she got super mad and said I was a passive aggressive person. I apologize and said I'm sorry but she kept putting me down. I talk to the cashier and asked for the manager. He said the manager wast there and that I could call the store later. I asked when would the manager be back and he said he didn't know. I don't understand why this person got so offended. I didn't say anything insulting, I apologized. I didn't mean to make her feel bad for grabbing the bag that she literally put on my face. She made me have such an awful time. I ask the manager if he reads this post is this the way to treat your customers? Please watch your security video for Friday around 130 pm and see for yourself what kind of employee you have. I would never treat anyone the way she treated us. I would never step on that store again.

Besides the extremely loud alarms going off within minutes of me entering.... At the front between the door and the so called self checkout....
After waiting my turn to pay, I ask Kenesy if it was self check out and said No and I continued to wait, she then called me up, and a little boy around 8 came from behind me and ran up to check out leaving his 2 older siblings behind me... Being a 60 year old and not wanting to make a scene, I let it go .. He has an issue paying and called for his sibling to help and then Kenesy allowed both of his siblings check out in front of me one separately as well never saying a word... Such as let me take care of this lady that was in front of you all
I bit my tongue and when i she finally got around to assisting me, I asked her what her name was and why she allowed that, and she said they were all together and I yes behind me and she has the audacity to say, Bo, he was in front of me ..
Now for argument sake she didn't see the little boy behind me she clearly knew the other 2 that where taller than me were behind me and since she said they were all together that would put him behind me too... She should have had them wait, or apologize for making me wait and extra 5 minutes to check all 3 out separately.
But apparently fairness is not an option with her
and if I didn't have to listen to the ear piercing annoying alarms, I may have stayed longer and spent more than 40... I just wanted it if there fast ..
And I'll never be back to this location again!

Ok I already see the reviews I guess is obvious they follow and look at you weird every time you ask for something they tell you they don’t have it I end up finding it myself when you go pay they rich and grab the stuff from you they should just put regular register not self serve register I was paying i scan my item and she rushed and press pay I think they just have a lot of thieves I go to other big lots and is not like this I ivoid this one and this is my last time here after this

I work at a different store at the plaza. I’ve been going to this Five Below for years. I didn’t get good vibes from the new staff. I felt watched and when I looked up I saw 2 employees quickly look away from me as they gossip at the front. Deters me from wanting to go back. We’ll see…

As a business owner myself, i would want to know if this happened at my store.
My managers are expected to be courteous 100% of the time
@ 3:30pm 6/28 I was shopping and asked to used the bathroom.
They were closed, i assume because inventory left only a small gap and was difficult to access. i saw an associate nearby whom later found ut was manager. she was about 5 '3"with glasses
manager: restrooms are closed
Me: Is there any way you can accomodate me?!? its an emergency,
manager: restrooms are closed
me: please please I am about to pee my pants
manager : fine, you can use the employee one
Me: after using restroom "Thank you sooo much"
manager: no reply, turned away like giving cold shoulder
me: are you aware it is polite to acknowledge someone when they say thank you?
manager : jesus christ , i allready let you use the employee restroom
i hope this manager is coached up / replaced

Good Evening! I came to the store Wed. 6:15 pm from 8 cash registers ( self-check out) only one was open. Insane!

Tried to return product because it was not what it appeared to be. They refused to give me my money back, wouldn't accept the return of the unused product. Didn't try to accommodate me the customer in any way.

If the cashier is going to hover over my shoulder as I use the self check out with my family, maybe they should just check out my cart themselves.
